sega figured out how to make a good sonic game after almost 10 years and never did it again after this

The best sonic game easily. The soundtrack, The Game play, Everything about this game is peak. If your on PC I recommend the "Cooler Sonic Plus" Mod which adds new characters such as Shadow.

It's really good, the graphics look amazing and it's a great start for less experienced sonic players, overall

Classic side-scrolling Sonic with new zones, new gameplay mechanics, new characters, and crisp animation. Even the familiar parts are revamped to make them different and exciting, including tracks that bang more than before and perhaps the best Special Stage of the whole series. This is the "Sonic 4" we are all waiting for since the 90s.

fans really can do better than big game companies, like sega. If only Sega kept this team around, then Sonic Supertstars wouldve been good.

Finally decided to check this game out thanks to the new Knuckles TV show!
