I only play with mods since I 100% the game on my switch a couple years ago but mods are fun I suggest getting some from game banana if you've beaten the game before

This game doesn't just pay tribute to classic Sonic games, it surpasses them and IMO is the greatest Sonic game ever. The classic zones are superbly done with a unique take and the new original zones in this game are so good.
Whether you are a lifelong series fan or Sonic was a distant childhood memory, I highly recommend playing this.

It's really good, the graphics look amazing and it's a great start for less experienced sonic players, overall

fans really can do better than big game companies, like sega. If only Sega kept this team around, then Sonic Supertstars wouldve been good.

Classic side-scrolling Sonic with new zones, new gameplay mechanics, new characters, and crisp animation. Even the familiar parts are revamped to make them different and exciting, including tracks that bang more than before and perhaps the best Special Stage of the whole series. This is the "Sonic 4" we are all waiting for since the 90s.

Finally decided to check this game out thanks to the new Knuckles TV show!
