An amazing game with an amazing solo developer. He's been working on this game for a long time, but is still supporting and updating this game. Would highly recommend!

One of the best business simulations out there. Yeah, its focused on software businesses, but the level of detail and depth is amazing. Well done.

i've been a software dev for nearly 10 years now and let me tell you this game is accurate (except the part where i get to raise my own wages)
it's a stunning and deep management sim, knowledge of game/software/web development helpful but not required

This game has been in the works for years, It's a great and fun game. To maximise income in the game requires some thought and can be really in depth. It goes from managing a software IP design to creating and managing a dozen projects at once, making great teams to make it. You can invest and buy out companies and commit tax fraud.
But it's also a game where you can chill, enjoy the music and manage a small company.
All in all, this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it definitely is mine, props to the devs they've done a brilliant job.

Okay people. ..I play a LOT of indie games, yes I do. Just check out my same name over on Youtube and you'll see that most of my 4,000+ videos cover indie games.
This game is special. And it's incredibly addicting. And simply "fun" AF. I got 52 hours in this thing, and that's just in the last week since my GF gifted it to me. Just insane.
It's easily one of my favorite indie games on Steam.. You have a 2 hour, 2 week refund policy on Steam and you have NO excuses. Just buy it, try it, and thank me later.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ..It should be some kinda crime or investigation into how this game isn't way more popular here on Steam. I've played at least a thousand indie games that have had more success, more reviews, and aren't 1/100th as much fun as this little gem and project of true passion from the solo dev who made it.

After 10 years, countless hours and the game in beta now, it's probably time to write a review.
I've played and liked a couple of game dev games over the years, but I always felt they all were missing complexity and thus freedom (as someone who's worked in software development for many years).
Then Software Inc. came around the corner and I fell in love instantly. And I still am, even though I can't play on PC anymore. Playing it on Deck with trackpads works surprisingly well (you might want to increase right track pad sensitivity, or check my shared, track pad centered community layout with all Deck buttons configured), text is readable and especially with mods, it's got all the complexity you could want in a sim like that.
Clear recommendation if you feel at home in UI heavy applications and like managing all the things.

Kenneth has turned this game from a small alpha to a masterpiece of a game.
I bought it shortly after release and been following the development ever since.
through out the years so much has been added, its amazing.
11/10 would buy again!
