Smackitball

This is more or less Cyber Pong, but free. This is good because Cyber Pong is too expensive! It doesn't look as good though, but it's not as bad as other games with this same aesthetic. It doesn't really have any game mechanics, other than it being a game of racket ball, against yourself, in spaaaaaaaace. Not the worst game about balls, for sure. Kudos. Like, it sucks, but it's free, and is an honest effort, and I liked the rainbow star effect of the ball.

Smackitball is a free racketball game in VR Early Access. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Have two modes; Arcade and Rally. This is a Solo game and you will need more play area.
I didn't like the way the ball disappears after hitting the floor and the serving of the ball takes getting used to.
Try it and delete it.

Not only does this game look great, but it feels really natural too. The physics are really nice and the interactions between racquet and ball are smooth.
I'm loving the Tron vibe i get from this game, everything looks like a lot of time went into it.
Cannot wait til they release this for multiplayer!

I can't downvote this simply because.. well, it's free! And the ball looks really cool. Hitting it is very satisfying.
But.. the problem is hitting the damn thing more than once.
It's hard as hell!! Ball dissapears after two bounces on the floor. Hit it too soft and it's gone. Hit it too hard and you can't follow where the hell it's going.. room is too big for me. My playspace is too small and i can't hit it on the sides..
It was fun, but only for 5 minutes. For me it's too hard.
If you have a huge playspace, give it a go. It's basically squash.

This game is pretty sweet. Everything looks cool and feels really intuitive. Looking forward more sessions

Smacking balls, what more can you want? In all seriousness though, pretty sweet game especially when free. Can't wait for the full release!
