Edit
Slimesphere is an isometric turn-based tactics game, where the goal is to kill the enemy slimes within 3 rounds. Its deterministic mechanics make the levels feel like puzzles, and you have to figure out the best strategy to win!
Usually, when outnumbered by enemies, you have to rely on traps to beat the AI. Spikes, crossbows, treadmills, launchers, etc. As the difficulty increases, the player has to pay more and more attention to the surroundings, and take advantage of that. There are 12 levels and 14 achievements; if that’s not enough, you can create your own maps with the in-game level editor!

It's a mad difficult tactics game, with even small decisions making a big difference in the course of the battle. Early levels include one where the enemy gets a stronger force than you, in a more advantageous position, and the AI plays them decently well. Recommended to people who think other tactics games are too easy.

Fun little game with TRPG combat on minimal puzzle playing fields. Everything is compressed into 3 rounds, high damage, low health, and small playing field. Your decisions really make a difference. Would make a good mobile game.

I really like this game, it is excellent. Is one of the only games I've played where watching the enemies move is as interesting as moving your slimes. The art style is excellent and the music is also really good. The menus are really well made, and everything is easy to use. Every move you make is impact, and the levels are challenging but fair. I really like the three round cap, as it means that you don't end up hanging back and hiding. It is a highly enjoyable game, I highly recommend getting this game, it is excellent.

This is a tactical puzzle game and it's very well done. You play separate levels with a set number of units with the objective to kill all of the opposing units within 3 rounds. If you don't kill all of them, you lose. Obviously, if the opposing side kills you first, you lose.
The isometric view is simple with no frills, but it works. The units are little slimes that have rudimentary animations. The music is a chip tune melody that gets kinda repetitive but is not offensive.
What shines about this game is that it uses all the best features of great SRPGs such as elevation, direction of attack, movement, speed, and different unit types to make some interesting and (at times) challenging matches. It's like playing a streamlined version of Final Fantasy Tactics that's meant for short bouts. In many ways, it's like a mobile game, but I don't mean that in a bad way.
Another plus is that the developer could have stopped with just one unit and rely on the puzzle hook to keep players engaged, but you do have different types of units like rangers, archers and mages. These units make battles interesting and add to the strategic layer.
Oh, and it comes with a level editor so you can make your own maps and scenarios. It would be nice if they set up the Steam Workshop for user created maps.
It's cheap. It's good. It has slimes. Buy it!

Very, very good :D
The only problem with it was a small bug that meant I had to restart a level :P

A little, cute gem here.A turn-based tactics game where you control some slimes and fight against other slimes. Levels are set up as various grid like terrains and you are allocated a certain amount of units to play and position at the beginning of the level. Here, you must defeat them within three turn, using different types of slimes which unlocks as you progress such as ranged slimes and shield slimes. Each turn you can take three actions including moving and attacking your unit, and choosing which direction your slime faces at the end of the turn. This is necessary as slimes take different amounts of damage depending on which way they attack and are attacked, so strategising your positioning is key. As well as there being more various kinds of slimes later on, there are also levels get more complicated as there are traps that arise, different levels of the terrain as well as the scale getting bigger.
There doesn't seem to be an extremely lot of levels but there are still quite a few and is a very cheap game, so i would say that it is definitely worth it. There is also a level editor where you can create your own as well. Overall it is quite a fun game which i quite enjoyed and found cute because of the little slimes.
