Warning: A 'tight night's sleep' is not guaranteed after playing 'Tight Sleep'.
It is best to play the game while sitting, or lying on a couch or a bed if you can, because the game takes place on a bed.
From that position you will have to spend the night in one piece with the help of light and the guidance of a talking teddy bear.
Monsters of the dark will try to grab you but you can make them disappear with the help of your flashlight.
By shining the light of the flashlight on the monsters in time, they disappear, but be careful, and quickly!
These monsters come from all directions and as you reach further levels, these monsters will also create multiple directions at their disposal that you have to keep an eye on constantly.
Level after level you will also be confronted with new types of monsters that can also attack in different ways, but all in all, your flashlight is the weapon for all these monsters.
You also have a lantern in the room that you can throw anywhere in the room for extra lighting but this light will not make the monsters disappear, this is only helpful to be able to spot monsters coming from a certain direction faster.
To avoid the crowds for a moment, you can also use an ability that allows you to slow down the time for a few seconds, while taking advantage of this to kill multiple monsters that surround you with your light.
Based on how well you can play the levels, you will also be able to get points that you can spend on upgrades, these upgrades ensure that, for example, your flashlight has a stronger effect on the monsters or that the teddy can anticipate more and you so can notify you faster and more often for incoming samples.

My initial impressions is that I had fun playing this game. It's simple, but it works in getting your adrenaline pumping as you search for what goes bump in the dark. You have a flashlight to combat the monsters. Shine your light on them enough and they vanish into thin air.
You play this game seated. Monsters come at you 180 degrees in a frontal cone. It's pitch black and you have to make it until morning. You also have some items you can use to help you make it, such as a pocketwatch that slows down time, a teddy that tells you where enemies are coming from, and a lantern that lights up the area where it's thrown at.
Each nights introduces a new danger. When it's close to morning, things get very hectic. You have to keep your wits and use your items thoughtfully. The visuals are good as well as the spatial audio. There's a tense atmosphere throughout.
There are some negatives. The UI is kind of rough around the edges. I don't like the control scheme setup on the Touch controllers. You use A or X for your primary when it should be the Triggers. It just takes a while to get used to that. I wish there were more varied maps. While the map layout does change a little, it's the still the same room.
At the end of the day, I had fun. This isn't a new type of VR game as it's been done in other games. It's just really well-done here with all the core mechanics, visuals, & sounds coming together to bring a spooky & intense experience. I think it's worth the $15 and is the type of VR game you can showcase to family & friends .... especially those you don't really like.

I bought Sleep Tight because of watching gamers play on Youtube and Twitch. It's funny seeing grownups scream and grown men cry from playing! I had to try it for myself. Playing is better than watching someone else because you're fully immersed in the experience -with sounds all around- and everything is extra terrifying. The monsters are scary and look awesome! Each night a new monster appears and so far the double-scream one is my fave. You can tell Bearfoxbear took time making this game. I haven't beaten it yet but plan to! Most people play through nights one and two, but the game gets better after that! Definitely my favorite game on VR right now.

Although the game-play is simple and wave-based, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the fun/fear factor. Great graphics, very atmospheric and immersive, and excellent sound and voice acting. Perfect to spook newcomers to VR, and to have a casual but pretty intense gaming moment from time to time. Maybe the price could be a little lower though? Still, recommended but only if you don't mind (quality) jump-scares :)

Comparable to Five Nights At Freddies.
Good Controls. Good Graphics.

I wanted to play this game because I saw a grown man cry while playing it on Youtube, and wow! He wasn't even exaggerating! The monsters are super scary and are different every night so it's a whole new experience every level. I really like that there are points you can accumulate to upgrade your weapons and your adorable teddy bear side kick that tends to flop around and act as comical relief to prevent you from having a complete panic attack every time a monster lunges into your face!
The game play is super smooth, the controls are easy to figure out, and you can tell the developers put a lot of work into designing your horrifying bedroom, teddy friends, and all of the scary things that crawl, run, and cool aid man style smash through your walls, ceilings, and floor towards you! There is no relaxing while playing this game! Highly recommend sitting down to play as there is A LOT going on, especially if you play in normal or torment mode and try to make it past night 3! I almost fell off my bed the last time I played!
Even if you're too scared to play, the Youtube videos are endlessly amusing and might give you the confidence to try to make it through night 1. Definitely the best VR game out as its not only fun to play, but also really fun to watch others freak out while they stream!

Terrifying, this game is awesome. I've only done the first 4 nights so far but it's great. Probably a bit short but worth it for the price. It's a great horror experience and is perfect for VR. This will definitely be my go to game to scare the shit out of people who want to try VR
