SKYE
Welcome to SKYE! A flight game where you explore a beautiful painterly island group, inspired by the Scottish Hebrides.
In SKYE you explore the land in your trusty seaplane. You can land your plane anywhere on the water and visit the local port to pick up quests. The surrounding environment allows for you to maneuver through rock arches, to pass rock formations and to soar island peaks.
The quests from the locals challenge you to guide ships, follow other airplanes, pick-up goods and to set the fastest times in races! You can also explore and experience the world at your own pace and allow yourself to be distracted by collectibles, can you find them all?
The world of SKYE has a painterly effect which gives it a unique look. The beautiful world is crafted with attention to each of its features: whether it’s the waters surrounding the islands, the steep rock cliffs or the green plains filled with flowers.
SKYE is created by a team of 3rd year game development students from Breda University of Applied Sciences (formerly known as NHTV) with the soundtrack provided by Alex Tosh. After four months of active development, preceded by half a year of concepting, we are excited to finally be sharing our game on Steam!

Short, cozy, enjoyable aerial game with some collectibles and races neatly tossed alongside the main missions. Beautiful soundtrack, visual style and smooth controls. Beginner friendly and a quick game to complete in an hour or two. Definitely recommend playing this game if you're looking to take a break from other games or just want to sit back and relax and have a little fun, but not invest yourself heavily.

Fun game, easy to learn, just wish there were more quests. Only took about 3 hours to complete the quests, then there is nothing to do but fly around. Fun but short.

This game was one of my first to play on Steam (which would have been a few years ago now when it was released) but I still can’t help but return back to it! Game content-wise there isn’t a whole lot to do, but with the simple controls and absolutely wonderful view+soundtrack, I feel that is for the better.
The couple of time trials allow for yourself to get lightly competitive as you race against the clock, while other quests send you across the island and enjoying what scenery the game has in store!
Once again, just a lovely, cozy game. Thank you devs for producing this!

Anyone else remember that flying minigame that came with Wii Sports: Resort where you'd just fly around and explore the island? Well, if you liked that, this is more of it. There are some quests to do and a couple of surprisingly tricky races to complete, but the main draw is the charming art style and world design and the joy of flying through a peaceful sky. It's not a very big game--you can explore the whole island in a few minutes, and reach 100% completion in an hour or two if you're quick--but for something that's literally free, you couldn't ask for more.
Final review: 4/5 (Good) - It's about the journey, not the destination.

Great chill game - I was looking for something that evoked the nostalgia of Wii Sports Resort island flyover, and this scratched the itch perfectly.

Amazing game where you can enjoy flying around the island care free, no complicated physics or game over mechanics. Just enjoy flying around the island, doing some quests and enjoy flying around the island.
While you're enjoying flying around the island, you get some collectibles and when you're done with that, I'd suggest to enjoy flying around the island some more.

SKYE is a relaxing experience. I enjoyed flying around the island, completing missions, and enjoying the aesthetic (painterly graphics + soundtrack).
It took me around an hour to complete, lovely little game.
