Take a magical journey back in time to CREATE your own fantasy retail business. Starting from scratch with a few shelves and limited stock availability, plan your displays and price your wares competitively to attract the most customers. DEVELOP your business by working out the perfect product selection to keep your customers returning. Will you be the Selfridges or the Primark of this fantasy world? Setting prices too high will attract the most theft but too low and you will be out of business in a puff of smoke. Putting in products pitched at the perfect price is key to surviving in this rough, tough trade.

I would prefer to give it a middling review. The game is good under very specific circumstances.
Condition 1: You don't expect anything more than a first person arcade sales game. Shoppe Keep is not deep. You buy stuff to sell it. With more sales, you get to buy better stuff, sell more and make more money.
Condition 2: You keep the game running in the background while you do something else.
The reason I got over 30 hours on Shoppe Keep is because I left it running, while I was painting on the other side of my desk. After a while you unlock robots which can automate restocking of shelves and killing thieves. You just open for the day, let the robots do the job and when the day is over (after 20/30 minutes or so) you sweep the floors from skeletons, buy new stock, restock the robots, maybe do some upgrades, do a bit of farming or such. And then open for the next day, going back to your other task. The music is also nice enough in the background.
