intimate Swordplay
one of my main focuses in this game is to create a engaging close quarters combat system, no fancy cartwheel triple jumps that send your character 10 feet in the air or flashy 5 button combos, just close intimate swordplay. finding gaps in your opponents defenses before they find find a gap in yours. maneuver around shields, parry and deflect attack, and counter when you find an opening or create one yourself.
