First person horror/adventure game set in a natural environment, the Taumiel Natural Park.
Progress through a semi-wild environment where you will face areas of stealth, platforming and puzzles.
After receiving a letter from an old high school friend inviting you to spend a day in nature and fed up with your day to day life, you decide that it would be an ideal getaway to forget for a few hours of the continuous quarrels with your parents and that medical report that only makes things worse.

Recently, I completed Shadows of Taumiel, and the game left a great impression. It’s a mix of horror and adventure with elements of simulation and logical puzzles. The atmosphere of Taumiel Natural Park, inspired by the mountains of northern Spain, is impressively eerie and keeps you on edge.
Stealth and puzzles are the game’s main strengths. Sneaking past enemies and solving puzzles was very engaging. The platforming elements add variety. The game is perfect for a few evenings. I recommend it to all fans of intense gameplay and atmospheric games!

The game combines genres and elements such as simulation and logic game.
It is essentially a first-person horror game with a dark atmosphere.
The game is single-player, there is no multiplayer mode.
In fact, the passage is not difficult, the riddles are quite adequate.
For a few evenings is perfect!

you need to react quickly,
as the intensity of the battle and the complexity increases /
But there's not a lot of content. It feels like early access

Taumiel Natural Park is a legit horror/adventure game with sick stealth mechanics and mind-bending puzzles. The chilling atmosphere and dope visuals, inspired by Spain's mountains, had me on edge the whole time. I was all about that stealth life, sneaking around and solving puzzles to unravel the park's secrets.
Overall, the game kept me hooked with its intense gameplay and immersive story, making it a must-play for thrill-seekers and puzzle lovers alike.
Taumiel Natural Park is straight fire, yo -- a game that will keep you on your toes and leave you craving more.

Lately I've been experimenting in the horror genre, veering away from popular AAA projects towards smaller indies.According to my observations, this is where the ineffable atmosphere is. Shadows of Taumiel is one of those games....Puzzles and stealth are the main advantages here, in my opinion. There are also platformer elements here, which adds even more fun to the gameplay

If you’re stubborn enough to deal with broken jump and darkness, you might get some fun out of this game.
Although the game appears to be simply another walking simulator with horror themes, it actually falls within the platformer/puzzle genre due to the increased freedom and traversal skills. Basically, you can sprint really fast and jump. This is necessary to complete the many jumping challenges and riddles.
The other skill lets you to pick up or push stuff to make a route forward. This usually entails arranging multiple boxes to serve as platforms. Most tiny items can be carried, but heavy objects must be pushed by walking into them. The only catch is that you can’t jump or run while holding an object. Because the game contains physics, a puzzle may include other things such as pulleys and lifts.
The UI isn’t the finest because there’s no crosshair that would alert you when you can interact with an object. You need to stand right next to it to work. Since it’s quite easy to miss crucial elements in the environment, there’s a help mode that highlights everything with yellow.
Big issue is barely playable jumping mechanic. If you jump and push against a solid object such as wall, you’ll stay stuck on it like a spider until you let go. Although this doesn’t let you climb up a wall, it can work as an unofficial wall-walk. Some architecture in the game’s world has uneven surface, so you can use this to practically double jump over obstacles. Naturally, this isn't possible all the time.
Unfortunately, some riddles appear to be unsolvable without cheating. One puzzle requires you to push two boxes, however one of them will not move at all. I was able to fix this by grabbing a hook that was just within reach and moving into a box. This caused a glitch that sent the box flying upwards, giving me enough time to move the second box.
The other issue is that being too close to smaller objects prevents you from jumping over them. One of the last stages where you climb a mountain is the worst experience I’ve had in a while. The only solution to get over is to take a step back or attempt a running jump. Even if you're running throughout a seemingly open area, you can't go beyond the walled path. The barrier may not appear to be high, but the game uses invisible walls to keep you from jumping over.
The final mechanic is stealth, which works fine. You can hide in tall grass and see where the "enemy" is looking, so there will be no surprises. Even if you are caught, the game just resets you to the beginning of the current section so you can attempt again without losing anything.
The same thing happens when you fall into water, fall from heights, or are caught by the enemy. It seems like the developer was aware of all the problems because there’s a checkpoint after each platforming section or puzzle. However, they only work until you exit the game. If you do this before moving to the next stage, you will have to replay the entire stage.
The game leads you through a series of stages, each with its own appearance and atmosphere. Visuals are fair for a Unity engine, but not particularly good. One major issue is the game's darkness, which cannot be altered.
However, the game will keep you entertained for several hours due to its numerous stages. If you want to replay a stage, you can do so using the chapter select option on the main menu. Since there are no collectibles, there’s no reason to do this. Achievements are awarded for beating each stage and getting all endings. There are only a few that require some extra work.
