Edit
As lightning flashes overhead, you’re transported to a strange, abandoned, yet oddly familiar world, surrounded by puzzles that revolve around the 5 senses: touch, taste, sight, smell, and hearing. With no indication of where to go or what to do, you have no choice but to explore, solve puzzles, and try to find a way home.
Staying true to the Myst-vania genre, nothing in the game is outright explained to you; a big part of the game is about exploring, learning, and piecing together clues about what’s going on and how everything works.

Let's decide on a name for the genre of puzzle games where you wander around a 3D world or environment and find secrets, curiosities, and random puzzles scattered about. The Witness, Lingo, perhaps even Myst all fall into that category -- I think "exploration puzzler" is a simple and apt enough term. Sensorium is one of those.
The game can be divided into two parts: the main bit, and the extra content. The main bit isn't too special, and some ideas you're going to have had seen before, but their design and particular implementation is interesting enough, and there's a good enough amount of originality in here to likely hold your interest until the credits. The puzzles rely memorisation more often that they should, I think, but you also have plenty of pushy-block and observation and logic gate puzzles to keep you entertained.
Accessibility options are very welcome -- not only is there a colourblind-friendly mode (even though only a few of the puzzles rely on colours), there's also a tone-deaf mode as well -- I recommend you enable that from the start if you're not very musically inclined, even if you're not actually tone-deaf, especially if you're going to try your hand at the extra content.
Speaking of the music, I think the game's music is, unfortunately, it's weakest point -- it's too sharp and not subtle enough, and somewhat ruins the atmosphere of the game, especially in the touch area. Another small gripe I have is that some of the achievements are just a very specific set of trivial actions that you're unlikely to perform unless you're specifically going for that achievement.
The game isn't a difficult one -- the main bit isn't, at least. It only took me 4.5 hours to get to the credits in no rush. The extra content is where it gets much tougher! And I can't say much about it, because I gave up. I managed to get half of it, I think, and I didn't think it was too bad -- but the other half I just can't find, and what little tiny bit I could find, I just can't figure out. I'll concede a defeat, Sensorium... for now!
EDIT: I beat all the extra content! It took me an additional 13.5 hours of mostly wandering around, and I had to shamefully use a hint to find something that really wasn't that hard to find, and another thing took some bruteforcing to solve, but I've done it. Apart from the puzzle I bruteforced and still don't even know how to begin to solve, everything was tricky, but perfectly solvable, and it was my own fault I had to use a hint, not the game's. However, I did not appreciate all the red herrings that kept putting me off-track -- that's something the game could have done without.

neat little puzzle game similar to the witness or taiji, though much shorter. required puzzles aren't too hard but some of the optional ones can be difficult. it does enough stuff different from other puzzle games that it is worth a play.

A decent little puzzle game with an interesting concept. For veteran puzzle gamers this will probably be on the easy to medium side, but for new puzzle gamers that want to get into The Witness or Taiji, this is probably a great game to start. You'll find concepts common to other games, but with neat twists for each of the senses. It's open world so you are free to tackle (almost) every section in whatever order you want.
Music and graphics are fine, but I'm here for puzzles not a pretty game. Works well on low-end systems. Achievements are doable, and can be mostly done without youtube. I'd say finish it, but don't worry too much about trying to 100% it. Get it while on sale. Looking forward to this developer's next game.

Yes, the game is recommended. Kept me busy and thinking a lot which is a good thing. Good story that you discover as you play. The way you do things in other games is sometimes helpful. A couple of puzzles are unorthodox and the logic is difficult to grasp. Way to dark in some important places. The scenery is rudimentary but it works. Overall though, I enjoyed it very much.

Sensorium is an amazing little puzzle game that isn't too difficult but still provides some amount of challenge. The game without any extra puzzles and without 100%ing it took me around 4.5 hours.
The game is inspired by games such as Myst and The Witness especially, with some puzzles being near exact copies (not a bad thing though). Not only the puzzles but also the setting was inspired by other puzzle games, with it being a simplistic and mostly empty world at first glance but with small details around to make you feel like you are apart of something bigger; very Witness-esque.
With a puzzle game being based around the 5 senses, you would wonder how senses that don't translate to video games like smell and taste fair, and the answer is it's okay. Obviously there would be no way to implement these things, and the method that the developer chose does make some sense, but if you didn't know that the game was about the 5 senses then there would have no guessing as to what those puzzles represented. There is a developer room accessible after the game has been completed (which I implore you to go to) that does describe the method to the madness behind these puzzles.
All in all this is a beautifully crafted game that deserves to be played if you enjoy casual puzzle games.

A fun puzzle game that explores its mechanics to the fullest. Rendering style is nice to look at. 2D art is rough around the edges, but doesn't detract from the gameplay. Lots of secrets to find, though I couldn't get them all without some guides. All in all recommended.

I got 100% of the achievements in ~4.5 hours while having fun.
Pros:
- Interesting idea of using the 5 senses for puzzles.
- The later puzzles really make you think, but they’re not extremely difficult to the point that you have to look up solutions.
- All areas connect to the smell area which is a cool concept.
- Simple graphics which makes the puzzles easier to understand/see.
- An open world puzzle game.
- 100% is easy to get while also being fun (for achievement hunters)
Cons:
- It is almost impossible to solve some puzzles without taking notes.
- The audio area could be too difficult with hearing issues, but there’s a tone deaf mode.
This game is overall fun and has an interesting concept. I recommend it
