Save the Dodos! We’re all familiar with the sad tale of the charming, yet unintelligent Dodo. But now you can prevent their heart-breaking tale of extinction! Guide the dodos through 100 challenging levels and save this avian dullard from extinction.
Since Dodos are not all too clever, you won’t be able to directly command them. Our feathery friends would just get confused and they have enough on their plate as is! You’ll be guiding the Dodos by reshaping the levels. By changing the platforms and obstacles you can guide the Dodos to safety and avoid mass extinction.
FEATURES
- 4 worlds to guide your dodos through; Prehistorical, Ancient Egypt, Antiquity and the harsh north of the Vikings
- 4 special Dodo’s
- 4 game modes (Classic, Survival, Rescue, Collection)

Clever games curator review: 6/10 Equal parts arcade and puzzle game. Clearly takes inspiration from old school Lemmings, with mindless dodos falling from a trap door and walking forward with no mind to the hazards until they reach the Exit, or die. Instead of granting the Dodo’s powers however, your entire interaction is to slide around either the columns or rows of the tiles that make up the level. In this way rearranging the structure in real time you can open up a path that saves some or all of the dodos. Sometimes you have a little bit of time to think about your actions but often and especially in later levels you are frantically shifting things around trying to keep the dodos from dying.
In that way this very much demands a fast response, making reflexes an important part of passing a level. Even then however it’s not trivially obvious what the solution is so it does definitely require a little bit of thought too. For me however it gets too frantic for there really to be enough time to think out what I’m trying to do. Thus the game becomes more frustrating than fun by the time I finished maybe half of the levels. If you like your games fast and furious however I think this could be a lot of fun.
Although clearly developed with mobile platforms in mind at some point, it currently looks like a desktop game and plays just fine on my laptop. And as a bonus it is fully touchscreen compatible.
