As a WoW Mythic Raider, I’m blown away.
This game is way more fun than wiping for 3 hours, 3 nights a week with 20 other people.
I thought controlling two characters would make the game less enjoyable and needlessly frustrating but instead, it added a layer of challenge that felt rewarding and earned, it helps that most mechanics didn’t feel cheap or unfair either.
It’s always a good time when you can solve a puzzle and come up with a solid strategy.
PRO:
- You can finally carry your own raid without having to multibox.
CON:
- You can’t blame other raid members for your own mistakes anymore.
It’s definitely a great endorsement for FFXIV, I might finally have to give it a shot.

An incredibly fun boss rush game.
You control two dudes at the same time, the Paladin and Archer, former is a melee-dps-tank, the latter is a ranged-dps-healer.
Game seems well polished to me, haven't ran into any bugs or what not and the mechanics are clear at a glance (or usually just dying to them once makes things clear.)
If you loved MMORPG boss battles with their massive AoEs, hard hitting attacks and the spectacle, then you will absolutely love this game.

Last year, I quit MMO's, but I've really missed raiding; then I found this game. Savage is a no nonsense, single player, quality raid boss-rush. If you are looking for a game to scratch that itch of facing larger than life bosses, managing your tank-dps-healing, and figuring out intense boss mechanics then this game is for you. Stop reading, buy the game. It's well worth it.
If you need a little more information; let me cover the gameplay, content, critiques, and miscellaneous good things in a "spoiler-free" manner to convince you to buy this product.
GAMEPLAY
Savage's most unique aspects is simultaneously controlling two characters: Paladin and Archer. Managing this takes some getting used to, but once it clicks it feels really good to master. Your classic trinity of damage tanking, and healing is divided like so: Damage is dealt automatically if a character is in range and blocking/healing are actives that pause your attacking. Little optimizations like proper positioning, timing actives between auto attacks, and knowing what attacks to pay attention, makes for an elegant system through simplicity, because there is a lot going on once the boss music starts.
The bosses themselves are well thought out, have compelling designs, and have hype music. Avoiding damage circles, managing mechanics, and staying alive is the name of the game. Overall, trial and error is how you clear stages. Once you understand why you wipe, and overcoming it gives an amazing dopamine rush. Stat checking/winning at character creation is not a thing here; you have to play by the rules and master the systems to win.
CONTENT
The game features a tutorial + 6 stages + 6 extreme bosses. Each stage has 3 bosses, with the first two teaching you the base mechanics for the third big fight, which will be further complicated by their own mechanics. After clearing stage 6, you unlock an EXTREME fight for each main boss and they are not for the faint of heart. Finally if you like collecting/progressing/completing/achievement-ing, the very simple, "clear the boss without fainting" objective gave a satisfying incentive to revisit content.
Regarding $/hour I have currently cleared up to extreme stage 2, and it's taken me 9 quality hours of bossing to do so. I feel like I have plenty more to do, but no bloat or fluff that make it overstay it's welcome. Additional content updates have happened twice thus far for 2 new stages, but I am yet to get to them :P
NOTES FOR THE DEV
The small critiques I have is that the balance seems just a bit underwhelming. HP, CRIT, and MP seem overshadowed by DEF and ATK, and the bonuses from many items make them seem obsolete. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like there is one clear way to play that's better than other variations. That said, the one way to play is rewarding and the encounters are truly something the Dev(s) should be proud of. (I also ran into some minor performance issues in stage 3, but turning down settings fixed it.)
MISC. GOOD THINGS
The demo has all six stages (but numbers/balance are different from the main game) which is absolutely bonkers. You basically get to try out the game for free, and decide if you want more. Huge bonus for being consumer friendly. If you've made it this far and are still on the fence, just play the demo and see for yourself.
TL;DR buy this game if you like MMO raiding, quality content for a steal of a price, and consumer friendly practices/development. Thank you for reading, and I really hope this game gets more well deserved recognition.

If you love MMORPG bossfights, you'll enjoy this, it's really interesting to control two characters at once, at first it basically broke my mind and thought I would never be able to play this game alone, but pretty quick it started to click and it's really fun.
One thing I noticed is that the Demo of the game uses an old version, has different numbers and looks worse than the actual game that you purchase.
Anyway, it's super cheap for how much fun you can get out of this, so I highly recommend it :)

This game is kinda wack, but kinda fun. I enjoyed my time fighting definitely-not-Titan. Twinstick controls make it more engaging than expacting.

Real good game while the feeling of attacks feels off the boss fights are really well designed and lots of fun
