Sanctum Breach: Rebirth
Step forth into Petura. A world ravaged by the “War of the Gods” and carved into factions, divided and trying to survive. As a Nomad you traverse this battle torn land, attempting to find your place.
Sanctum Breach: Rebirth is an Endgame focused ARPG with deep loot, customisation and build paths. Play how you want, the way you want and strive to overcome the challenges of this dark and brutal world.

Dual Classes:
At release there will be 6 base skill trees which can combine to create 15 Classes in total, with access to both skill trees. With over 40 skills and passive effects per tree, that is a lot of customisation! Combine the Minions and Summons of the Necromancer with the Companions of the Hunter to create an unstoppable army of servants? Or perhaps the Elemental control of the Mage with the primal fury of the Shaman to become one with nature and destroy all before you? The choice is yours!
Loot:
There is already thousands of items waiting for you to collect, with thousands more to be added. Loot comes in multiple tiers and with over 50 unique stat affixes you will be hunting for that perfect item for many happy hours of slaying enemies!
Endgame:
With a whole host of Endgame content planned, there will always be unique and fun challenges to overcome. Whether it’s hunting down the Minotaur in his maze, battling the rebirthing Phoenix or conquering an ancient dungeon deep below the surface of the world, loot and glory awaits all up to the task!

is it finished? no does it have a endgame? no is it made my 1 man who listens to every piece of feedback you give him and improves the game on a daily basis yes. is he working on endgame yes. is it a fun campaign to playtrough with different builds I think so.
fair warning bosses are kinda lackluster atm and the unique pool needs a bit more work its a diamond in the rough. And now all it needs is time and money behind it

This game is a blast. If you enjoy Grim Dawn, and other games like that you're going to get a real kick out of this.
It feels like a real honest to god Early Access as well. It's buggy as hell, some game breaking. There's tons of changes randomly, and the game itself feels unfinished. Why Early Access though? Because the )(*@#$_)(*@#$)($ DEVELOPER ACTUALLY RESPONDS AND LISTENS TO YOU AND TREATS YOU LIKE SOMEONE WHO'S TESTING THEIR GAME FOR THEM.
You do have to pay some cash, but Sam Keats genuinely appreciates your effort and time. You can drop him a message on discord, or the forums, and he responds quickly. He puts a lot of effort into this, and it shows.
Fanboy words aside, this game is a real blast. The abilities feel unique and have impact, balance is still an issue so some are OP and some are lackluster, but in general all are a blast. Pet's are fun, a bit broken and op but fun. I also really like some of the slam abilities.
The plot is hot garbage, but does anyone play these games for plot? If you do check out Grim Dawn lol.
I can't wait to see how the builds grow more diverse. I don't necessarily agree with all the decisions, but he had a good interview with Tarke Cat (
I'm excited to see endgame press further, I think that's going to be where this shines. It's worth the change if you got it, I've only played 7 hours or so on this version, but I had a lot more on the older one (2 years ago) and think the changes are epic.
Visually it's pretty basic, lots of market skins, but works out fine and is well executed. I think it's the unreal engine so it will have some nice lasting power.

Very good game. It has Grim Dawn and Titan Quest like skill trees with lots of loot even in early access.
Campaign has four acts with three difficulty levels which takes quite a few time to complete. Even after that you can rerun maps to level up and get better loot as usual, so it already has a nice potential to make you sink your time.
Dev is quite involved with the game so far, pretty regular updates. Hope to see this game develop into one of the genre definining games in the future.
Definitely recommended, if you like these type of games you won't be dissappointed.

A massive improvement over the original Sanctum Breach. In fact it feels like a whole new game. 3 classes, 4 acts, 3 difficulties. I have not got to endgame yet, but I can't stop playing. More review to come. For now though, I am ready to get back into the game!

I received this product for free as I had previously purchased the original Sanctum Breach, and the developer, in an act of good will, wanted to make sure those who backed his previous project did not have to double pay.
I want to say that I have enjoyed both the previous project and this one. They are both completely different games with different classes and skill systems, and he is clearly working very hard on this, as he had on the previous one before the publisher he linked up with derailed the last effort. He also worked on another project in between these two, and was just as responsive to bug fixes and help requests in that games free DEMO, as he has been on these projects as well. That is the praise I would like to place upon the developer himself, and he has my confidence to bring us an amazing project.
As for the game itself, it is a TON of fun. I love the combo class systems with dual skill trees inspired by Titan Quest and Grim Dawn. The end game system promises to have another level of customization that I can't wait to try out. Combat and skills are fun. There is a lot of gear drops as others have said, but I don't mind this too terribly much. Kind of fun to look through all the gear for min/max purposes.
On the first difficulty as a melee, once you get your build right you get very sturdy, but that's not something new to me in other games if you build right. The penalty on death is nice and harsh though, which I like. That adds to difficulty and requires you to at least be awake and not one click your way through everything, at least not right away.
Overall, totally worth the time and the money and I cannot wait to see more!

I have been a long term player of ARPG's, seen the lot. Titan quest, grim dawn, victor vran, last epoch, POE. this is an early access game currently, out of what is currently on the market i will say you wont beat the update frequency and player response of sam. there is a passion and need for developers true to their core values more and more often within the indie development scene, he has a vision and it's not hard to see the passion for the genre is there too i wont lie and say it's a magnum opus with no flaws right out of the gate
Gameplay:
the game primarily focuses around endgame content but currently supports 3 primary difficulties in oldschool diable II style being normal, brutal and inferno. the enemy variety is lackluster but keep in mind this is early access and on a solo developers time schedule, i imagine once things get rolling assets can be purchased or commissioned from talented folk. skills are the current focus and the enjoyment they bring, and this shows. with many skills having punchy effects and room for gimping to endgame levels as a focus, the game currently hosts a slew of item rolls, item tiers, rarities and has room for a lot more down the track and the ease of repeatability.
price point:
there is a lot of complaints so far about the price point, and in all honesty yeah sure $30 is quite a bit for some (i know it is for me) and so the decision to purchase the current access version should come from purely the wish to support the developer on their endeavour, having a passion for helping a game become its best self or helping provide valuable feedback for the games future. the is a true EARLY ACCESS game and the steam disclaimer refers to it a bit poignantly.
all in all i see the game as a stepping stone towards a valuable product amongst the ARPG community

About the game:
Sanctum Breach is an indie ARPG with multiple playable character classes and a bunch of different skills / spells. At the start of the game you pick one of the (at point of review) three characters. Each one comes with two skill trees that you can spend your points from level ups and quests on. The game itself is made up of 4 different acts that you play through. After completing them you advance to the next difficulty. Endgame content has been promised and will eventually get added during this phase of early access.
Me rambling:
Sanctum Breach is an interesting game because it's history alone shows dedication of the developer. A full redo of the game in an insanely short amount of time after the first version faced some rough times. The developer went and redid the entire game from scratch in record time and was even very generous with giving out the game to people who bought it once before. (that's why I'm marking this as "got the product for free" btw, I bought access once before)
Having spent some time playing the first version and also Rebirth during testing, I can say that it's an incredible improvement and the developer has obviously spent lots of time polishing systems and fixing bugs that arose along the way. Player feedback is incorporated or at least addressed incredibly quickly and bug fixes get released at alarming speeds.
This game just hit Steam and is only in Beta so far but there are many plans for its future already laid out. The dedication that the developer clearly has, convinces me, that there is still a lot to come.
Even if there's a few things that might not be perfect, there's still so much time in the future where the developer keeps improving the game (heck, the day I'm writing this he released to bugfix patches), so buy this game if you want to support an arpg with a lot of potential with a dev who 100% cares.
