Eine gelungene Mischung aus Tower Defense und Ego-Shooter
Sanctum 2 gehört für mich zu den interessantesten Koop-Spielen seines Genres. Die Kombination aus klassischer Tower-Defense-Strategie und actionreichem Ego-Shooter funktioniert überraschend gut und sorgt für ein Spielerlebnis, das sich von vielen anderen Spielen abhebt.
Besonders gelungen ist die Freiheit bei der Verteidigung der Kernpunkte. Vor jeder Angriffswelle kann man Mauern, Türme und Verteidigungsanlagen strategisch platzieren und anschließend selbst aktiv ins Kampfgeschehen eingreifen. Dadurch fühlt man sich nie wie ein passiver Zuschauer, sondern hat jederzeit direkten Einfluss auf den Verlauf einer Runde.
Auch im Koop-Modus entfaltet Sanctum 2 sein volles Potenzial. Gemeinsam mit Freunden Verteidigungsstrategien zu planen, Rollen zu verteilen und sich gegen immer stärkere Gegnerwellen zu behaupten, sorgt für viele spannende und unterhaltsame Spielstunden. Kommunikation und Teamwork werden dabei sinnvoll belohnt.
Die verschiedenen Charaktere, Waffen und Perks bieten zudem genügend Abwechslung, sodass sich unterschiedliche Spielstile ausprobieren lassen. Jede Runde kann dadurch etwas anders angegangen werden, was die Langzeitmotivation erhöht.
Grafisch mag Sanctum 2 zwar nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand sein, dennoch überzeugt das Spiel durch sein stimmiges Design, die abwechslungsreichen Karten und die klar erkennbare Gegnerdarstellung. Auch der Soundtrack und die Atmosphäre tragen dazu bei, dass die Kämpfe jederzeit dynamisch und motivierend wirken.
Insgesamt ist Sanctum 2 ein hervorragender Genre-Mix, der Strategie und Action erfolgreich miteinander verbindet. Wer Tower Defense mag und gleichzeitig selbst aktiv ins Kampfgeschehen eingreifen möchte, findet hier ein unterhaltsames Koop-Spiel mit hohem Wiederspielwert. Besonders gemeinsam mit Freunden macht Sanctum 2 auch heute noch eine Menge Spaß.

Nettes Tower defense Spiel. Das es 3D ist und nicht wie üblich 2D ist erfrischend und funktioniert hier extrem Gut.

Top Tower Defense Ego-Shooter mix und funktioniert auch einwandfrei mit Controller am PC (Starfield XBOX Series Controller)
Allerdings finde ich es schade das es nach 5-10h so schwer wird, dass man ohne Ko-Op keine Chance mehr hat und auch kein nerv mehr für dieses Spiel.
ansonsten gebe ich 4,2 von 5 Sternen
