About the Game
You, a legendary retired veteran, are called upon for one last operation: to ascend a mega-city ruled by a corrupt conglomerate. You were chosen for this mission because of your signature chain-hook prosthetic arm and the ability to maneuver and quickly defeat enemies. The mission: to hunt down a mysterious entity known as “SANABI” and uncover corporate secrets hidden deep within the city.

With your legendary skills, you are capable of using your prosthetic arm to jump over cliffs and skyscrapers, dash through bullets and traps and defeat powerful enemies. It’s time for you to come back out of retirement for one last mission.

After a sudden blackout, all of its citizens mysteriously disappeared and the city was left in total chaos. It’s your mission to explore the depths of the city and uncover what happened.
Mari, the hacker prodigyA brilliant hacker and drone rider you meet during your mission. Mari can open locked doors, reveal enemy weaknesses and uncover encrypted information. Mari is lovely and reliable, but maybe just a little too chatty. Who knows though, this girl might be the key to finding SANABI.

An absolute must-play for all fans of story-heavy plattformers like Celeste and even for fans of regular plattformers like Super Meatboy and the like.

What an awesome game! Easy 10/10, smooth gameplay, great visual, super creative, one of the best stories i have ever seen in a platform game. And every boss is unique and super cool. I can not recommend this game enough!

Ich kam für das Gameplay, doch ich blieb für die Story.
Sanabi ist ein nahezu perfektes Spiel. Der visuelle Stil des Spiels passt gut zu dem schnellen Gameplay. Die Musik hat mich auch komplett überzeugt. Vor allem während des finalen Bosses.
Das Gameplay mag zwar gut sein, aber die Story ist der Kern des Spiels, was bedeutet das man einen großen Teil der Spielzeit mit lesen verbringen wird. Klingt für den ein oder anderen etwas langweilig und könnte ein Grund sein es nicht weiter zuspielen, doch der Payoff am Ende ist es definitiv wert. Ein paar kleine Tränen kamen auch zum vorschein.
Mehr möchte ich zur Story nicht sagen, da man im besten falle nichts darüber Wissen sollte bevor man es spielt.
Ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben mich dann aber doch gestört.
Die Story lebt davon das man unwissend bleibt, jedoch sorgt das auch dafür das besonders der Anfang des Spiels mit vielen eher weniger interessanten Dialogen gefüllt ist. Zumindest eine englische Synchro hätte dem langsamen pacing gut getan, indem man sich nicht durch massenhaft Text quälen muss. Leider sind mir in der zweiten hälfte des Spiels auch einige Rechtschreibfehler der deutschen Texte aufgefallen, jedoch haben diese die Erfahrung nicht ruiniert.
Alles in allem gebe ich dem Spiel eine 9,5/10 und würde damit auch sagen das es ein Spiel ist, welches man gespielt haben sollte.
