SAMURAI MAIDEN is a special title for me because it reminds me of SENRAN KAGURA. It is a combination of a visual novel and an action game. The plot and everything else is presented in the form of dialogues. After completing the game I can say that it was a good title, I liked the characters and the plot in the game and the combat system. The game itself had no problems or bugs. Moreover, the game time was not that bad because in total it took me 54 hours, which is a pretty good result, I think. That is why I can recommend it to all SENRAN KAGURA fans.

Visual Novel + Hack n Slash is the best way to describe it. The visuals are great, the controls were chunky at launch but now it feels better, 4 girls are cute especially when they take a selfie, the story is fine and not boring.
I didn't care about censorship stuff so It doesn't affect my gaming experience. The price is quite high and the game is quite low so I suggest buying it on sale.
Once you reach endgame, there is a parry counter which I really like it. It's a bit hard to execute sometimes but it's very powerful and helpful skill, especially in hard mode. Combine with any infused element, a group of enemies are one shot.
Overall the game is simple and fun, I got all achievements and I really enjoy the game.

gameplay is fun once you start to unlock more and more moves through the album, i enjoy the visual novel-ish aspect to it during the cutscenes, and the dialogue can be pretty funny at times. The soundtrack is also fire, although it feels like it doesnt have much variety, at least in the beginning.

As a Hack'n'Slash and Visual Novel fan, I really enjoy this game.
The main characters are all unique and lovable in their own way. Their interactions are all wholesome and cute throughout the whole memory album and main story.
The combat feels nice and the unlockable moves are even better.
The ninja skills are all very different and unique to get you through every situation.
It's very underrated in my opinion. It combines samurais (or ninjas, more accurately) and yuri! One of my favorite games of all time for sure. 💜

After beating all difficulties I can say this is a game that can appeal pretty broadly to casual action game fans and vn fans.
Me myself being a character action game fan.
The amount of dialogue may seem like much but it definitely pays off with later romantic interactions, the characters are very cute together.
The combat is simple but well put together and the progression is done well so that you'll be unlocking new abilities to try pretty often. The parry is also very satisfying
Character Action fans may find it a bit boring but rest assured once you beat normal you unlock hard the game becomes much more challenging and more fun because of that.
Overall it's peak.
