Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is the next in the series that has twice been PC Gamer’s ‘Multiplayer Game of the Year’, bringing the franchise into the era of automatic rifles, man-portable grenade launchers and more modern weapons systems. Still with the authentic look and feel and realistic weapon handling that the series is known for. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam offers intense action for up to 64 players in battles between the forces of South Vietnam (the US and their Allies) and those of the North – the regular, main-force units of North Vietnamese Army, plus the guerilla fighters of the National Liberation Front (or Viet Cong).

In 2024 - it still plays bumpy as f* because it never got the polish it deserved...
but there hasn't been a more fun alternative released yet!

A lovely Semi Hardcore Tac shooter in the Jungle.
Some maps and modes can be harsh, also the Game trys to imerse with the hard time in nam.
I like the fact that there are ingame Commanders with their needed radio operators, a good or bad one can change the game in one or the other direction.

RS2 is old, but the gameplay is simply great. Especially with the right team, the matches are a lot of fun! Sometimes it's frustrating (team balance) and sometimes it's easy going. The teams are so varied. Weapon selection is good, especially with the "special" weapons. e.g. "Flammenwerfer"
Of course the graphics are no longer the latest, but that's why almost everyone has the opportunity to play the game with low hardware requirements. There are small bugs, but I don't think they bother me. Get it, play with us and have a great time!
