RICO
Two cops, one case and only 24 hours to take them down… can you score the bust of a lifetime? Take the role of a loose cannon police detective and face off against criminal gangs in an exciting procedurally-generated action movie FPS. Join forces with a friend, online or locally, and take down those crooks in true buddy-cop style! As a part of the RICO task force, your mission is clear: get in, take down the criminals and get out again. Sounds easy, but it's not – procedurally-generated cases mean you'll never know who or what's waiting for you. Pick your load-out, then use the element of surprise to get a tactical edge over the enemy. Unlock new weapons, mission types and traits, or dive into Daily Play and see how high you can climb the cop rankings!

Great game! you abuse doors so many times lmfao, basically a door abuse simulator.
It's sad that online co-op is not working, Idk if they shut down the servers or no one is playing.
If you want to play online forget it, if you want to go solo just buy it.

RICO delivers a solid dose of adrenaline-pumping action with its unique take on the first-person shooter genre, Just think the breaching sections from the Call Of Duty series but as a whole game. Busting down doors in slow motion and taking out enemies with precision is incredibly satisfying, and the cooperative game-play adds a fun dynamic if you’re playing with a friend.
However, the game’s initial thrill starts to wear off as you progress through the game. The missions quickly become repetitive, and the lack of variety in enemies, environments, and objectives leaves something to be desired. It’s a game that screams for more content—new maps, mission types, or even just a broader selection of weapons and enemy types would go a long way in keeping things fresh.
Performance issues also tend crop up, with occasional frame drops and stutters that can disrupt the flow of game-play. While not game-breaking, these hiccups are noticeable enough to be a little frustrating because the game isn't exactly Red Dead Redemption 2 levels of visual fidelity, especially in a game where speed and fluidity are key as I believe the enemies are hit scanning so you WILL get hit even while in slow-motion.
Despite its shortcomings, I oddly enough find myself returning to RICO for a quick fix of door-busting action. It’s a fun game to dive into for a few missions at a time, but it’s hard to justify the full price given the limited content and technical issues. My advice? Wait for a sale I'd say if it reaches $10 or below its worth it but the current price is a bit much. Like many people on steam, I wish Valve would add a mixed review option because this game fits that criteria perfectly but I do recommend it on sale.

Ever wondered what Call of Duty breaching slow-mo game would play like? Well look no further, Rico is exactly that. Gunplay is okay, weapon selection is limited, especially as most of the available weapons are simply useless when you get a better gun in the category and difficulty seems all over the place, online COOP and dailies no longer seem to work(for some reason they had private servers running instead of using P2P provided by Steamworks?) but couch COOP is still a possibility. The loop soon becomes tiring and there's not enough variation to warrant a long enough play time for the full asking price, only recommend at a heavy discount.

Biggest grief: Gopniks not wearing any flat hat... not realistic.
It's got timers. Nonetheless, kaboom, your full progress is over. It's roguelite.
It's not really suited for playing with a controller even if supported. You'd quickly feel it. Too much precision required, the kind you obtain with a mouse. Running to slide in a room doesn't work well. A key to directly slide would have been enough. Other games of that type do better than this one.
It can be fun though for a couple of hours. Not really expecting to finish it.
Got it for $2. It's ok. Full price, thumbs would have been down definitely. It's still not really up by the way.

Local couch co op is a blast!!
Played with my nephew and local couch co op is the way to go. It's such a crazy game bc if u both die the game is over there are no continues or saves. Played on medium and only managed to get to 3 skull difficulty with 1.5 hrs of playing. U can run and gun or play tactically. The leveling up process is pretty fair and adds to the fun.
Was very easy to set up local split screen co op. Connected an official Xbox controller and a thir part 8bitdo controller. Pressed start and game recognized both easy. Was playing within minutes.
I can see how ppl say it's repetitive gameplay but it's still a great game to play just buy it on sale.

Normally, i'd give this kind of game a negative but i'll be fair.
First of all, this game is not worth 22.79$.
The concept is the good, the execution not so much... You will be facing off criminal gangs in rooms in a rogue-like gameplay, the setting is good, the gameplay concept is good.
Now, the gameplay execution that's another story, and we could even say the execution in general.
Gameplay is clunky, game is repetitive, just as any rogue-like, some could say but this one doesn't have lot of content and the locations are so-so, no modding tools so no new weapons, locations or anything at all, that could have help the game a bit, more content would have made it better too.
It is enjoyable for less than 1 dollar but that's it.
It is a shame because the concept is good and they could get it right with the sequel RICO: London.
Get it on sale, it is worth for a few hours at top.

Very nice shooter especially in co-op. Breaching rooms with bullet time criminals flying around feels badass.
