Rhythm Doctor
Save lives with your spacebar!
Rhythm Doctor is a rhythm game in a world where defibrillating patients’ hearts in sync with their heartbeats has healing properties. Slam your spacebar in perfect time on the 7th beat, and they might just come out okay. But beware – every patient has unique illnesses based on complex music theory: polyrhythms, hemiolas, irregular time signatures…if you don’t know what they mean, don’t worry. Rhythm Doctor is designed to make you learn music and rhythm theory without even realising it!
- 20+ handmade levels, each with their own story.
- Every level introduces a different concept of rhythm theory in an accessible way
- A large cast of doctors and patients feature in an overarching, character-centric storyline
- Play the story solo or grab a friend for drop-in drop-out local multiplayer throughout the whole campaign!
- Robust level editor to make, share, and play community levels! Use your own music, place notes snapped to the beat, and use 50+ different visual effects and backgrounds
- Challenging “Night Shift” versions of each level for the brave
(Note: 2P mode only works locally. Online 2P via Remote Play is enabled for this game, but it does not work that well right now due to varying latency)
Rhythm Doctor features flashing lights and colors. Please use caution if you have experience with epilepsy or any of its symptoms.

This game is accessible to all people that can tap the space bar and count to 7.

This is hands down one of the best rhythm games I have ever played. Each character is charming, even the characters with one song, and the music is incredible. This game is still (as of review time) in early access and it seems that any content add makes this game more worth it. A try musical gem.

it took 134 hours, but i finally perfected all achievements.
This game is one of the best, if not the best, rhythm game out there. It really focuses on the rhythm of the game(sounds obvious but the number of rhythm games that focus on melody/ notes is actually a lot) and for that reason, its one of my favourite games to play. As someone who has used this game in all its ways, whether that to improve my sense of rhythm, poly rhythms, mapping my own songs, conquering the self-sabotage voices that prevented me from getting perfects for so long, and even making a spotify playlist dedicated to songs that I think would work well with the way the games plays, I cannot recommend this game enough. When a little rhythm pixel game has the ability to make you cry during the credits(so much so that I couldn't get a passing grade on the level for ages lmao) you know you have yourself a great game. PS. all my homies hate bean hopper/jk . please buy this game, even if you aren't good at rhythm games. its that good.
TLDR: good game buy pls.

I had to pause my game after completing the boss stage of Level 2. You will see why. I've played many rhythm games, but not once quite as creative as this; I could cry. I will cry!

This game is insanely slept on. One of the best rhythm games out there! It's easy to love the characters in this game and the story is pretty funny for it taking place in a hospital. Really great job, Devs. Keep it up!
