Experience 360 degrees of mind-blowing synesthesia as you blast through waves of enemies and massive transforming bosses, with colors and sounds that sync and blend to the beat of Rez’s legendary techno soundtrack.
Whether you’re an old fan of the original Sega classic or never heard of Rez before, whether you’re playing on your TV or your PS VR headset, whether you’re looking for a quick diversion or a deeper game you can lose yourself in for hours at a time -- you owe it to your senses to experience Rez Infinite.

This game used to come with a vibrator.

Why did I wait so long to buy this? This should've been the first thing I played in VR.

One of the greatest experiences I've had playing this game was vibing to the pulsating trance beats at 12AM shooting down multitudes of viruses and just becoming completely immersed in the game's soundscape, and gunning for 100% in all rank categories for each stage. Whether you're here to see if the game lives up to its hype, are just interested in the (admittedly scarce) number of rail-shooters Steam has to offer, or just want a really unique experience that you can almost always come back to, Rez Infinite *does not disappoint.* This game has become one of my all time favorites in very short notice, and as such I highly, HIGHLY recommend it.

I first played this on Dreamcast, around 20 years ago. It's still a timeless classic and uses next to no resources at all on modern PCs.
A magical kind of game, dated, but as music is a big part of it it doesn't seem to matter so much.
One tip for players new, and not so new to the game, for the original 5 levels, set your controller to the slowest speed, or perhaps one up. To emulate the single stick Dreamcast controller must be tricky, but at the slowest movement (which was the default with no option to change on the original) You will get an authentic feel for a game which was something no one had seen before all those years ago.
It's one of those few games that remain timeless. This review is only about the whole original 5 levels, and a few things (no spoiler) that unlock later.
Without VR, I haven't even tried the the new "infinite," part of the game. But never mind, it's worth every it!

What a love project for this gem of a game premiering on the PS2! I thought it wouldn't get better than Rez HD on the Xbox but BOY was I wrong. Glad to have this in VR and will keep coming back to this game for years to come. Nothing else is quite like it!

Very cool game.
It doesn't look like much, but the audio and visual effects come together very nicely for a psychedelic experience.
It's kinda like Starfox 64, but with the aesthetic of the Tetris Effect.
It's a short game but has lots of replayability due to the various challenge modes.
