About This Game
Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series creator Ron Gilbert that continues the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
It’s been many years since Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a battle of wits with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. His true love, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from governing and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled, having never found the Secret of Monkey Island. Hip, young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have shuffled the old guard from power, Melee Island has taken a turn for the worse, and famed businessman Stan has been imprisoned for ‘marketing-related crimes’.
Banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands now under dangerous new leadership. Then, take to the high seas and explore the new and unknown as you work your way out of tough predicaments. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations, and devastating ripostes are all that stand between Guybrush and glory.

Bringing classic point and click gameplay to the modern-day, intrepid pirates will solve puzzles and explore the islands with a clever evolution of classic adventure game controls. Context-sensitive interactions, reactive dialog trees, and an easy-to-use inventory system make pirating a breeze.
Embark on Archipelago Adventures
Navigate the sometimes-friendly confines of Melee Island, a familiar place that finds itself under new management by leaders who have put the squeeze on old friends and new faces. Venture out into uncharted lands like the aptly named Terror Island and the chilling outposts of Brrr Muda to make allies and enemies alike.

Recomendado para los nostálgicos, aunque nada va a superar la versión pixelada y pierde un poco el humor ácido, igualmente sigue siendo una linda aventura gráfica. Me encantaron los dibujos, estilo recorte de papel: recuerdos de Angela Anaconda, South Park y Obrero y Parásito xD

Muy buena historia, mantiene la esencia de los antiguos y con un estilo nuevo que está bastante bien, es verdad que me hubiera gustado que hubieran traído bien la lucha de espadas y otras cosas que estaban en el primero y que han dejado más como un guiño, pero trae cosas nuevas que también están muy guapas.
En general, si te gustan las aventuras gráficas está bastante bien y si encima conoces la saga de Monkey Island 100% recomendado.

Muy disfrutable. Me encantó y mantiene el humor de los primeros Monkey Island. Hay a quien le molesta el estilo gráfico, pero aquí lo importante es la historia y es muy buena.

Me causó mucho rechazo el nuevo estilo visual, estilo cartoon-deforme. Hubiese preferido el clásico pixel-art (aunque no todas sus entregas fueron así, con gráficos estilo pixel).
Sin embargo, una vez te pones a jugar, es Monkey Island 100%: música, ambientación, diálogos, chistes... Y al final acabas apreciando el arte exquisito y cuidado.
Los puzzles son todos lógicos. No hay cosas raras. Aunque para uno en concreto, no se me ocurrió mezclar unas cosas, y tuve que tirar de la ayuda del juego.
Si te gustaron los clásicos Monkey Island, esta entrega te gustará. Y si te gustan las aventuras de puzzles, estilo point-and-click, también la recomiendo.

Es bonito visualmente, a pesar de que prefiero el estilo pixel art de los primeros, me produce nostalgia. Trata de recuperar ese humor y frescura de su época pero quizás no termina de aterrizar. Para mí, el final es flojete, Entiendo lo que intentan hacer, pero sabe a poco. En cualquier caso, no es un mal juego y te da mucha nostalgia, pero los antiguos eran mejores.

La grafica me parecio un poco infantil. La historia esta bien, aunque no es la mejor. Claramente no es el mejor monkey island, pero si jugaste el resto, este tenes que jugarlo sin dudas. 7/10
