Yes, Recommended, but... I would recommend this only at the sale price.
Even then it is a case of buyer beware. There are a few outstanding issues with this and correct as of time of review, the links to the official documentation are down and so is customer support it seems.
Still, I do recommend in the sale price just because of ease of use and the fact it is simple to export and share a BASIC visual novel and that above all else.
This software was made in Unity, make of that what you will, but so far it has yet to crash on me and seems solid enough.
If this is your first visual novel maker it is a decent choice for the sale price, nothing more.
Is it the best? No... but then it depends on your budget.
If money is not an issue, then all fingers point to Tyrano or VN Maker.
If, like me, you are on a low income then this is an adequate alternative I would say.
