What is Realm Of Cubes?
Realm Of Cubes is a Voxel-based Action Adventure RPG. It takes place in a fantasy world that is in need of help from you, the adventurer. You can experience the world by yourself, or with a friend!
What features are in the game?
◽Do Quest!

◽Choose between seven classes: Mage, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Warrior, Deathknight, Shaman.
◽Explore a hand crafted fantasy world inspired by World of Warcraft and Cube World.
◽Action based combat with aiming/strafing.
◽Different mounts and achievments to collect!
◽Lots of companion pets to find!
◽Hang gliding!
◽Help out the residents by completing quest and defeating monsters around the world!
◽Unique talent trees for each class.
◽Level progression up to level 60.
◽Play single player or with a friend with couch co-op!
◽Lots of unique spell abilities for each class!
◽Multiple professions: Bartending, Cooking, Smelting, Tailoring, Alchemy, Camping, Blacksmithing, Fishing, Mining, and Gardening!
However, be careful, if you start the game with a controller. Steam tries to map the keyboard and mouse to a controller and it’s supposed to be played with a keyboard and mouse. If you would like to play it with couch co-op here’s a guide I’m linking below.

Realm of Cubes is a casual singleplayer WoW-like ARPG. I think it captures the WoW questing vibe pretty well. The game isn't finished, but it's still being developed, and there is a fairly large seamless world map with several different zones with quests and dungeons to do, and a lot of loot to be found/crafted.
It has two player splitscreen coop, but player 2 is like a placeholder character with no gear or progression, and odd controls.
I would recommend the game if you like the premise and want to give feedback and support the solo indie developer who's working on it. It's badly optimized and buggy, but the dev is passionate about this game and very responsive to feedback and bug reports. Most of the complaints in the negative reviews have been addressed already.
The game has improved drastically since I first played. This is not an asset flip or a cash grab. It's a pretty ambitious work in progress with a decent amount of content.

This game combines what I loved about cube world with a cute handcrafted world to explore. Pros to playing this game:
-Progression System for each class
-7 different classes with unique abilities
-Quest
-Different regions to explore
-Fun combat
-Fast Gear Progression once you get on the grind
-Developer that is still updating the game with more content
So what are the Cons?
-So far there are only 3 regions to explore. However the developer has stated that more regions are in progress.
-The second player can only be a warrior
Other than that, it's a fun Open world game with fun combat. Can't wait to see what happens with more updates!

This game is quite similar to the early day's of Cube World and for those who really enjoyed that you may enjoy this one. Although it's still in early access and a lot of work still needs to be put into it, the Dev(s) have been putting in a lot of work with bug fixes and changes happening almost every day.
I know a lot of people do have issues with Early Access games and I'm right there with you, however, I do believe that if the Dev keeps working on this and does what Wolfram von Funck couldn't do, this could be an amazing game.
That being said, for the moment just keep an eye on the game or, if the Dev is reading this, I'd suggest lowering the price for a little bit until it has a bit more of a following. Marketing for this game is definitely needed but again, if the Dev is willing to put in the effort, I do have confidence in this game!
Original Review (mainly just a couple of things I noticed when I first started that had needed fixing/changing)
Although at the time of this review I've only got a few minutes in this game, it seems really fun! The main 2 issues I have is that there's no volume slider/option other then for the music and the mouse lock/unlock is a bit iffy (it's one of those games where by default your mouse if locked to crosshairs but when a button is hit, you can then move your mouse around to select options and whatnot) this sometimes doesn't activate and is a bit glitchy but I believe that's an easy fix.
I'll update this review to be better and more accurate once I've actually spent more time in the game!

Very calming and enjoyable. If you want to do 2 player co-op, do not have a controller plugged in when launching the game. Wait for your character to be moving around on the screen, THEN plug in your ps4 controller.

It's like cube world x world of warcraft, pretty chill, still rough around the edges, but i would recommend

This game is honestly a game that I can see turning into something really great if the developer keeps working on the game and doesn't just abandon it.
Sure, some of the controls and all are still rather rough, BUT the game has a very good baseline already I gotta say that and once you get used to all the stuff and know your way around it is actually a fun game.
This game aims more towards the direction of what I would have loved Cube World to be like and I am honestly really excited to see what kind of Updates we get in the future.
One feature that would be super cool of course is the ability to play online with your steam friends, that would just be the cherry on top if it would be possible to add that in the future maybe.
Besides that, a very good base game so far, keep working on it and i know it can be something great!
