Random Access Murder

I got this game in the August Humble Monthly Bundle. I really like the game. I was able to get into it right away and used the Steam controller with no set-up required. I personally think the "pop-up ads" and the moments when the game "errors out to the 1990s desktop screen" is easily the coolest video game idea I have seen for a while. It makes me feel like I am back in the day batteling my old computer to run games. The FPS element of the game works really well, the design of the characters and world is amazing. Maybe because I grew up with old scool games and played all of the classic PC FPS games when they were new, but this game feels like it was made just for me. This game reminds me of playing Unreal Tournament back in the day jumping around trying to find the best items. Well done, keep it up.

I think this game is really cool, I just wish it had voice chat that made us all sound like Robotic Daft Punk aliens.
I really can't wait for updates! There are so many possibilities for features, and updates to this game!
Dedicated servers would be nice.
I hosted a server and within 10 minutes I had a 4 player death match game going. The sniper is my favorite weapon.

I don't really get all the hate. The only problem I see with this game is the Lack of players. I personally found it fun even when it was just me and ONE other player, the music suits it well and the effects of the weapons are great. I just really don't understand the hate, its a game that costs $3. Sorry you were expecting CoD or some shit. I liked it. Good game with friends. Not something you would sink 100 hours into but still fun.

This game has it's issues but the core is still there, it's still a riot to play.
You have an SMG as your damage weapon (left click) and a Disabler in your other hand (right click).
Disabler weapons, while looking like shotguns, rocket launchers and the rest, are more support, making sure you can't get shot (as your opponent's screen is reduced to 40X80 pixels, or static causes it to spazm white and flash colours. or tabbing them out to a fake windows desktop), they don't do damage but they do make it harder for you to take damage or for your enemy to dodge.
The "buggy" movement... is weird, but the devs probably found through playtesting that Rising up through ramps by jumping into them made people feel more like L337 Hackz0rs, so, they kept it in... along with player freedom.
For it's price? certainly something good to check out while it still has a playerbase... it's fun and strange and pretty and vicious :D

It's pretty cool so far. It needs work but it's a fun idea that I can't wait to see fleshed out. If the dev keeps it alive I could definitely see a userbase growing for it. It's budget-action with a neat twist. Need to tone-down the seizure-inducing effects but filters are definitely a strong suit of this game (love the ASCII).

I only recommend this game if you like very repetitive shooters to have fun with your friends and gets pissed at each other.
It is fun, but was confused at the start while playing it. Also the menu was kinda laggy. Obviously after playing it for like 15 minutes it got repetitive for the lack of content, but could be fun if played with friends.

This game is really cool and rather addictive. There isn't too much skill required. This game has a niche little take on the multiplayer fps. I love the asthetic :)
