United States, 1830: ‘The New World’ is in its ascendancy. Industry is booming, and the race is on to establish the most dominant and powerful rail empire in all of North America. It’s time to outthink and outmaneuver your competitors as you lead your company into the 20th century! In Railway Empire, you will create an elaborate and wide-ranging rail network, purchase over 40 different trains modelled in extraordinary detail, and buy or build railway stations, maintenance buildings, factories and tourist attractions to keep your travel network ahead of the competition. You’ll also need to hire and manage your workforce if you want to ensure an efficient train service, whilst also develop over 300 technologies ranging from mechanical improvements to the trains themselves to workplace infrastructures and advanced amenities as you progress through five eras of technological innovations.

I've played a lot Railroad Tycoon II which I find best train manager game - this game is "close enough"
Pros:
- research (something that didn't exist in RT2). It would be awesome if research was not linear and each research would not only bring benefits but be kind of tradeoffs (i.e. get more speed but higher chance for breakdown).
- impact on town growth - you can actually impact on what production will city focus on so you can leverage nearby production
- you can hire people on each train which gives another layer of influence. It was funny to discover that some people might not like each other :D
- campaign and free scenarios - I really like both
Cons:
- hiring management after some time is annoying - even if you don't want to hire given specialist you'll see note that someone is available. Also if you have 100+ trans you still need to keep track where to put next one
- upgrading trains requires you to go to details of each train and go to details to replace it
- going into train details is not IMO good UX - if I have list of trains I would expect double click bring me to details, instead it shows train menu on the other part of screen when I can go to details
- I miss summary of trains/stations with more details like in RT2
- tracks and signals - it could be me just being not experienced in game - but I'm getting frustrated often when I lay down tracks, I put signals and I find out that I did something wrong and it doesn't work but at the same time I don't really know what I did wrong
- tutorial is sometimes annoying - i.e. you build in town station just to learn about it few minutes later and your icon for building will blink whole time.

Świetna gra, wciągająca na długie godziny. Sporo różnych wyzwań, ze zróżnicowanym poziomem trudności. Ładnie wykonane modele pociągów i całej infrastruktury.

I can't recomend it.
It will drain your time.
