About the Game
Recommended for 2-4 local players. Online multiplayer is supported through Remote Play Together.
Raiders Of The Lost Island is a LOCAL semi-cooperative party game for up to 4 players, where you and your weird looking friends are hunting treasures on the mysterious Lost Island.
Collect the most riches to win this race! Don’t hold back and don’t be shy to push one or two pretenders into the ocean! What if they can’t swim? It’s all for a good cause, right? Your cause!
However, the island is cursed to sink under the rising waters and soon everyone will die if none of you greedy bastards take the time to build the escape boat before the final wave. Of course, that hard working lad, doesn’t have to be you. There’s plenty of losers who don’t really need those shiny diamonds!
Keep an eye on who gets ahead and join the others to take down the leader and steal his booty! If by any miracle your party survives, you get to count your wealth and possibly win as the richest player. If greed gets the best of you and you all drown, well, then none of this matters… everyone will lose!
THE ADVENTURE
No true raider stops on the first win when so many treasures await him. A long series of lost islands are ready to be explored, one by one, in the most dangerous adventure. Your treasures will be summed up in the hideout, where you all return after each raid.
Collect rare relics, discover their secrets, try your luck or make your own to and survive up till the end where all your hard work will be rewarded. But beware, a single misstep and the whole adventure will become an unfortunate story to scare the children.
And don’t forget, if you have a hard time, feeling poor and miserable, you can join forces with another sad raider and make a team. If you don’t manage to do better, at least you’ll have a shoulder to cry on.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
For families or friends who prefer the cooperative side over the competitive one, it’s perfectly fine to play friendly as a big team, without shedding any tears. Small kids, who just learn how to play, can team up with their parents or bigger brothers.
The controls are simple enough: only one stick and 4 buttons. Keyboard and gamepads are both supported, and can be configured in the options.
PLAYING SOLO
For the best experience and a maximum amount of fun the recommended number of players is 3 or 4. But, you can challenge yourself as a solo player and see how much treasure you can collect and get away with. Then brag about your score on the game’s online leaderboards.
WIN ALONE OR DIE TOGETHER!
Grab your friends and venture to the Lost Island! Seek your fortune, survive together and get rich in the process! Don’t let greed get the best of you, or you’ll be all sleeping with the fishes on the bottom of the ocean!

Picking up gems? Building the boat? Surviving? Escaping? Girlfriend and I just keep pushing each other into the water and laughing like maniacs.
Tons of fun in two players, can't wait to try it in four.
10/10 would raid again

Very fun family-friendly game!
Unfortunately our family has only 3 members, so in order to properly play the game I had to convince my wife to build an expansion.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fun this game can be. It's not the kind of thing I usually play, but its core gameplay is enjoyable. The artstyle is also very nice! I invited friends over on two occasions and we had a lot of fun each time. The game is easy to fire-up - simply plug in your controllers, go through a short tutorial, and start exploring the islands. It's definitely something I will play again the next time I have someone over, which is not something that I can say about another local CO-OP indie I checked out last week.
This game balances team-play and competitiveness beautifully. One moment you're working together to complete your boat, the other you're trying to sabotage your team to steal their treasure (walking around with a diamond can be very dangerous). Reactions on the couch are also quite hilarious. We used beanboozled candies to "punish" the lowest scoring player.... great incentive! Another rule was that we all had to eat a candy if we lost the level!
Despite the fact that the game is still unpolished, I think it has a lot of potential... and I really hope the dev will continue to update it.
Pros:
- Great party game for kids and adults alike,
- Solid core gameplay, which can be improved, but is still great for an early access game
- The isometric perspective is perfect for this kind of game. I also like the overall aesthetic of the game.
- Very interesting levels, each with its unique obstacle or mechanic (e.g. elevators, boulders, bridges, gliding rope, etc.)
- Semi CO-OP is well balanced
- Scores are hidden until the end of the level.
- Funny achievements
Cons:
- local CO-OP -> this is both a good and bad thing. It's a great game to play together with friends, but getting together can be difficult, and playing the game alone really isn't fun. I would recommend introducing some AI / bots. Online mode may not be that helpful, since the servers would not be that populated.
- If you're friends are douchebags, they can loot the entire level and not help with building a ship. That's all fine and dandy, but I think team-players, or people who contribute most to the building of the ship, should be rewarded in some way.
- BE CAREFUL: If you fail one island in an adventure, you fail the entire adventure and have to start over.
Solid game overall, with a decent price tag. I recommend checking it out.

Great game for sure! The only level needs to be balanced is the volcano one. It's way too hard to survive even for two players working without collecting any coins.

Great casual fun with friends or children. I'd really like some more settings for difficulty, but all in all I really do recommend it if you have someone to play with. Controllers help, but arn't needed.

This game is co-op in name only. My favorite activity was acting like an agent of chaos, blocking a path and pushing everyone that came near me.
My wife was not amused.

Solid good party game. The level design and gameplay mechanics are sure to get you and your group laughing, shouting and calling for a rematch to see who'll come on top next time.
It's great for kids of all ages ;)
