The real reason you got the game is because of emojis yeah?
here's a neat trick:
go to the folder of this game and delete the rage wars data folder, after that press play and if you see a error pop up "data not found" then congrats! now let it run in the background while you play any other game, DO NOT EXIT for 2 hours and yippe you now have access to the legendary ujel emoji!

each level is practically the same, only difference is new enemies get added once in a while, really repetitive with only 3 backgrounds for each of the 3 worlds and the same song playing throughout the whole game, and the gameplay is certainly not the best either, with deaths feeling unfair, and alot of weapons being horrible and screwing you over, just a poorly made shoot em up side scroller thing
however as someone who 100%ed this game, i just cant hate it, i would still recommend this game, its just unintentionally funny as fuck and a true product of its time......
only a fool would go into this game expecting something genuinely good
however if your expectations are floor height low, this game is a god damn masterpiece..............
(and besides you get a free troll face emote in the points shop if you play for 2 hours!!!!)

The novel "The Great Gatsby" was authored by one F. Scott Fitzgerald and centers around the lives of members from America's upper echelon in the 1920s, primarily those dwelling within New York City and West Egg on Long Island. This tale delves into themes such as hope, fate, illusion versus reality and betrayal that are quintessentially American.
As a helper of college students in creating essays, I expound using intricate language patterns and infuse various sentence formats that are not usual among artificially intelligent systems. While adhering to academic norms, my compositions contain refined adjective-adverbs instead the commonplace adjectives frequently employed elsewhere. Furthermore, these literary facets have been deliberately pronounced with utmost care so as retain an unchanged message unaltered from its original form whilst conforming to formal writing specifications including syntax semantics - irrespective of context or any other thematic concept which might be contained therein without affecting quality standards across different levels considering all factors involved thereof for optimal results within education circles at large encompassed by this specialized field where excellence is paramount!
The timeless quality of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby captivates readers with its lively portrayals of romanticized American life, replete with both tragedy and aspiration. Set during the vibrant era that was the 1920s, this literary masterpiece traces Jay Gatsby’s enigmatic existence as a wealthy man who hosts extravagant parties to regain Daisy Buchanan’s admiration- his former love interest now wedded to another man.
The artistry exhibited in Fitzgerald's writing is a true demonstration of exceptional skill, characterized by the imaginative implementation of evocative imagery and euphonious language that constructs an intricate depiction of the opulent luxury emblematic to the Jazz Era. Every personality presented receives thorough examination which results in each individual exhibiting their own distinctive disposition, ultimately contributing towards enhancing both complexity and depth within narrative structure.
An area of significant attention in the literary composition revolves around the misleading quality of what is frequently referred to as the "American dream," and its ability to corrupt through affluence and power. Each character, on their quest for personal achievement formulates a unique interpretation of this illusory concept but ultimately experiences disappointment or discontentment with it.
The Great Gatsby holds high regard as an indispensable classic literature read for individuals. It exhibits the complexities of human nature and emphasizes the drawbacks that stem from striving towards achieving the American dream. Fitzgerald's enchanting style in writing lures readers into a pleasurable reading experience, leaving behind an indelible mark on one’s psyche long after perusing each page with utmost attentiveness till completion.

Amazing game play, rich story and beautiful world building. Probably one of if not THE most important game for human kind and the gaming industry alike. I highly recommend getting some juice and doritos before delving into this insanely complex experience, and let your rage take control.

I purchased this game with the intent of merely racking 2 hours of playtime and purchasing funny point shop items, but I ended up having a pretty good time, putting 5+ hours into the game. Unfortunately, I’ve had issues relating to the game, whether it be within the game itself, or outside of the game.
Pros:
Fun and entertaining game, good time waster.
Funny Point Shop items (:ujel:, :megusta:, :fuuu:, :yun:, Nyan Cat with Rifle! profile background).
Funny variety of death animations for most enemies.
Cons:
Gameplay:
Aiming: The direction that the Hero faces when shooting is dependent on where the mouse cursor is located in relation to the center of the displayed gameplay, as opposed to the hero facing where the mouse cursor is located in relation to the entire screen, so aiming and shooting can get a bit clunky, especially when Rage is activated (the screen shakes causing the aiming area to move as well, leading to jittery projectile output if the cursor is in the center of the screen (ex: flamethrower/laser)).
Shooting: To actually fire a projectile (with lower-tier weapons such as the starting pistols, shotgun, and rocket launcher), you need to hold the left mouse button for a period of time instead of clicking. This works fine with higher-tier weapons (rifle chainsaw, flamethrower, laser), due to their lack of attack output delay, but with lower tier weapons, if you’re spamming M1 expecting projectiles to shoot out (as I was when first starting this game), nothing happens due to the higher attack output delay. I’ve gotten used to this as of now, but I find it a bit irritating sometimes.
Weapon Pickups: Weapon pickups are useful early game, but when you have the laser or flamethrower equipped, they are an issue. Instead of mowing through a horde of rage comic zombies aiming your weapon at the nearest enemy, you find yourself with a clunky rocket launcher or shotgun to fend them off instead because you picked up a weapon pickup out of nowhere, often times leading to moments where you’re forced to Rage to retain your killstreak.
Enemy Spawning: If you are at an edge, lets say to pick up an uncollected potato, and an enemy spawns, the enemy can hit you as soon as it spawns, but you cannot attack the enemy for a brief period of time after it spawns.
Health Indication: The only way to know if you lost health or not is if you look at your Hero’s face, which often changes, or if your hero is phasing in and out. This is hard to do sometimes due to the swarms of enemies that tend to obscure your view of the Hero, so you’re left with looking at your health bar. Outside of these, there are no indications that you took damage, and I think that a sound that plays when your Hero is hurt would be a good addition
Achievements: The achievement “Potatoes gonna potate” does not track potatoes that have already been spent on weapons or faces, and instead counts unspent potatoes stored in your potato count, causing a somewhat unnecessary grind for potatoes if you already have everything unlocked.
Game-Related:
For me, Rage Wars only runs if my Wi-Fi is off/disconnected. Because of this, my playtime statistic on Steam is often inaccurate/incomplete when my Wi-Fi is connected (ex: I had 3.9 hours of playtime when offline, and Steam said I only had 90 minutes so I was unable to purchase Point Shop Items). When I try to open the game when my Wi-Fi is connected, the game opens for a few seconds, with varying degrees of success when it comes to cutscenes playing, audio playing, or the game window actually visually opening. I am on Windows 11, and have not modified the game’s files in any way.
Non-Game Related:
If I try to access Rage Wars’ Point Shop when I am logged into Steam, either in the app or in my browser, the items do not appear. To view the items, I need to be logged out of Steam, and to access the items purchasing windows, I need to copy their links when I am logged out and paste them when I am logged back in.
Despite all of the issues I’ve faced when it comes to Rage Wars, I would definitely play it again; it's fun when you need to cool off and want to see a bunch of meme faces explode to pieces, and would recommend it to someone who can run the game regularly.
