Interesting game idea, but it starts off way too slowly to make me want to come back and play more of it.
Most of the cards you can get, you will only get in midgame or endgame, and up to that moment, you will have to use "+1% to this" cards over and over again, regardless of level.
I did have fun and I did finish it, but its just okay, nothing more.

Yes BUT. is how I'd review it.
While not bad I got this game from Humble bundle and wouldn't pay more than 50% for this. Not all builds are equal / not all builds are even fun. I think if you are on the fence wait for 50% off at least.

For $10 it's a solid game. Had some good fun with it. Feels kind of like a really fun flash game. Negatives are it's sort of balanced with a dominant strategy on what to build. You can't quit a run once you start. Golden Boy achievement seems to be busted.
I like the art. The music is pretty good. Feels pretty satisfying when you get into the flow of it.

Loving this game. There's deck building, real time strategy, and even some rhythm elements. The game gives you just enough information, and then lets you learn the rest on your own. Definitely gives some vague slay the spire vibes, but I love the mechanic of building up your skills every time you play a card. My efficiency-minded brain loves it.

Barely a recommend. You can look at other not recommend and see many reasons why it is barely a recommend. I did enjoy it but it is way too slow at times. They don't use tooltips and some of the stats barely make any sense like shielding when you have armor. If you need to find anything you have to go into the book in the top left corner and look for it which is not fun with a game already pretty slow. Also look at the achievements... there are 5 with the same hint aka "Beat the first ascension level."... That is weird since you would think that means you would get all 5 at the same time but no since they have a different amount of people that have achieved this. One even I think was mistyped since it goes "Stroll", "Hike", "Climb", "Harship", and then "Serenity". I think it was supposed to be "Hardship". I also would have thought that they would be for betting each boss on the first ascension level but I have already beaten the first 2 and nothing. I hate the way you get cards and many of the cards are just bad.
Also you don't really get to pick your deck at the beginning so some of the time you are already really handicapped. Also some stats are OP like speed with crit since you can kill pretty much everything before they touch you but if you get a deck that has only shield and armor then you are going to be bored and have trouble beating the bosses since it is a battle of attrition.
There is barely a community and I could not even find anything online when I had my questions. The reason I say recommend it is barely because it can be enjoyable and I did enjoy my time with it. Play the demo since that will tell you if you will enjoy it or not. I would recommend getting it on sale if you do get it.

I mean, it's really fun! It really needed a proofreader, though (you hasten something's approach, guys, not haste it!! aaagh).
The gameplay is really easy to break, but it's a deckbuilder... kinda? so that's sort of the point I suppose. You can do some really goofy interactions with charms and cards - but a LOT of decks devolve into 'click play as fast as you can'.
Still, it's charming, and building up to the point of breaking things is quite fun! I like the parry system, and setting personal challenges, like not picking up the most abusable charms, etc
And the story is a bit strange. It seems like it wants everything being robots to be a 'twist' when it's very obvious from the beginning? I do like that no one really turns out to be evil, just a bunch of frustrated immortals.

It's a lot of fun. It takes a few failed runs to get the hang of things, and then once you finally get a good build going that feels strong, it's a great feeling. It's a roguelike, so expect to die a lot and get stronger over many runs.
