A little pearl among free steam games

-If you have some free time and looking for a fun game to try out, then this a good option in my opinion. It can be a bit frustrating at times as you learn the mechanics and patterns of the enemies/bosses, but the feeling you get when you overcome a boss and get to the next layer is worth it.

-A good think to know is also the RNG that can screw you over at rare times. You sometimes get enemy rooms with no enemies meaning you don't get enough coins to buy anything on that layer and it makes the rest of the run harder. You can also get unlucky enemy spawns where that one enemy jellyfish spawns above you and you don't have the time to react before it attacks you (that or I have a skill issue). The last bad RNG instance I'll speak about is for the weapons. In my opinion, there aren't many good weapons that are better than just using melee and it can make clearing enemy rooms hard at times or even bosses at times.

-I haven't paid much attention about the whole lore part of the game, but it definitely exists and if you are the type of person to look for that stuff, you'll likely enjoy this game.

-Some parts that I personally enjoyed so far in my playthrough are the different characters you encounter as you go through the different layers. Even if it's only a few lines of text, they each have a very distinct personality and it brings a bit more life to the game. The music can get repetitive if you get stuck around the same layers, but that's hasn't been that big of a problem for me and it's been pretty enjoyable to listen to. The graphics are a hit or miss, I personally like pixalated artwork, but it pretty much depends on your own taste. The achievements are very enjoyable to complete and add another great touch to the game. I would recommend looking through them before playing and trying to complete the game and accomplishing them as you go. Another great thing to know is that killing a boss hitless will reward you by giving you additional hp for that run and maybe a damage increase?

Anyways this is already becoming a pretty long review and I don't feel like adding anything else or can add anything else as I've only beaten the third boss as of now and don't know what the rest of the game is like. I highly recommend playing this as it's free and that's going to be all from me.

More seriously, I love 8-bits music, the game design, and all the super fun weapon we can have, although I certainly haven't tested them all yet.

This game is hard, and I really like this type of difficulty where you must play and play, again and again to gain skill.

Final word, this game is an absolute banger, thanks to the developer(s?).

This is probably the first time I play this type of game, and honestly I am happily surprised it is very fun, even though I suck at the game I keep trying again and again. Amazing !!!!

un excellent jeu avec une grande diversité d'armes et de personnages. il est assez dur pour pouvoir y passé de nombreuses heurs sans s’ennuyer. le jeu vous offrira de nombreuse émotion
