Quod: Episode 1
This horror-thriller is perfect for those who, in addition to a narrative-driven adventure with action elements, enjoy solving puzzles while immersing themselves in the dark prison world of the 1930s.
The main character, Rob Fisher, a former firefighter turned local prison guard, is about to face unexpected twists of events. Follow him, unravel the mysteries of the prison complex, find a way out of the grim trap, and confront your fears. Beware not only of the inmates but also of elusive threats lurking in the shadows.
In our possession is an underground prison complex. As you navigate your way out, explore carefully, searching for clues. Be attentive, as who knows what is hidden in its corners.
Key Features:
- Startling jump scares and unexpected sounds creating a oppressive atmosphere or signaling danger.
- Detailed and realistic setting of an American prison in 1932.
- Modern interaction system and gameplay situations constantly challenging you.
- Exciting blend of puzzles and action.

Fun experience that deserves an episode two due to interesting setting.
You take a role of a prison cop who becomes trapped after a prison break. This occurs on a day of weird earthquakes and happenings, which also begin within the prison when you see something you don't understand.
Although the game is short and takes place in a small area with only a few rooms, it is all about creating an incredible atmosphere with sound and visuals. This includes a flashlight that must be wound up after a certain period of time.
The gameplay is similar to an ordinary walking simulator, with just slight frightening features. You move around and interact with objects to help you find your way forward, as well as read notes containing information about the game's universe or clues.
Unlike similar games that are almost like scavenger hunts in which you must simply find or interact with an item to progress, this game puts a lot more effort into puzzles. Unfortunately, there is no diary where you can collect all of the information, therefore you must write it down yourself or snap a screenshot.
The disadvantage is that some things appear multiple times in relatively repetitious puzzles. Cell doors, for example, need you to unscrew four screws each time before completing a sliding puzzle. Then you have a set of colored keys that open specific doors. Although it isn't too bad because you can just test one after the other until you find the right one, there is a note somewhere that explains the appropriate colors for doors.
There is relatively little time spent aimlessly walking around. The reason for this is a highlighted objective that is always visible through walls. You will occasionally have to locate a specific object, but it is simple to remember all crucial locations.
The game looks great and runs fine without any issues. Achievements are tied to six lockers and their respective codes. Four of them are optional because they don’t hold anything vital, and their codes are found somewhere in the game.

Really nice indie horror game. Well placed jump scares and an eery atmosphere. The puzzles are nice but not too hard. I really hope there will be an episode 2
The voice acting of the protagonist reminded me of Rick and Morty, nice spin hehe
Ps.: Loved the easter eggs

You'll be treated to a little narration at the beginning, you'll see a cutscene. After that, the game genre will change from warden simulator to adventure puzzle simulator :D

It catches the eye immediately:
- The game's graphics (they're amazing)
- level design
- in-game animations
- many mechanics and item interactions
I want to endlessly recount the prisoners, tick the boxes next to their surnames to elegantly play with a pen ;)

The action takes place in a 1930s Texas prison, the plot is full of tension and mysteries.
It looks and sounds great, the controls are convenient.
A game for fans of this genre

Really beautiful game, real eye candy. The controllability is excellent and the puzzles are suitably challenging. I personally have nothing to criticize about the game's operation. Looking forward to episode 2. Keep up the good work.

they don't really do a good job telling you what you have to do to progress outside of usually a single voice line, there's not really any horror in it, it's hard to tell what's a thing you have to interact with and what is useless background objects you can click on or what part of the clutter of scenery objects is interactable (except of course the times they highlight objects, but they don't always do that), and some of the puzzles are dumb.
still it was fun, although kinda painful. probably not worth the price, I spent most of the time confused thinking I was softlocked or had to click on everything like it was an old adventure game, but it was just kinda stinky game design.
