Quest Hunter is an isometric action-RPG where your choice drives the story. Find tons of treasures and secrets, solve puzzles, equip your character, level up your skills and finish off enemy bosses. Play on the couch, alone or with friends, or make it an online party for up to four players!

It is a perfect game to play with your significant other who does not understand complex game mechanics. We played this game more than a year ago and on a random morning, I saw a similar PoV in a different game which made me think of the fun hours my wife and I spent playing this little game. So, I logged in to Steam to pay my respects to the developer. I highly suggest playing with a friend who would scream at scary zombies etc. It makes the game a lot of fun.

This is a wonderful little game. I have been through it many times on all difficulty levels. It has no bugs and runs like a well-oiled machine. There are so many hidden things and it now includes a free large expansion. At full price, it was worth every penny and now it is a must buy. I hope their is a sequel. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.

I found it a fun game. It is not complex and is something you can just have some fun with without spending hours figuring out the mechanics.

I can't believe that I played this and never left a review so here it is:
8/10 game
I really enjoyed the simplicity, the colorful graphics, the itemization and progression, the controls and character-world interactions. Unfortunately the quests kind of didn't hold up so well and your journey seems to deviate a bit from the script or focus of the narrative so I cannot rate it higher. Still, 8/10 is a respectable game in my opinion and I think the $20 price is fair.

Great couch-coop game. Hours of fun just dungeon crawling with the wife and kids with a decent story and a great simplified version of the more advanced RPGs like Neverwinter and Diablo so you can introduce the basics of spell advancement and character building. Several things it needs is an inventory management system such as transfer buttons in the storage chest for same items and a comprehensive equipment list to see what is worth putting money and resources into. Additionally, it could use more storage slots in the storage chest, which IMO should be bigger than the backpack and a little cheaper upgrades to gear and weapons since they are almost disposable in the sense of being under-powered frequently and require too much to upgrade. The game has a few randomly generated dungeons that you can keep going back to so you can obtain more loot for upgrades but there aren't that many and the tile sets get a little stale after a few playthroughs. One of my biggest complaints is you can't delete saves.

Unexpectedly pleasant game. You have everything you need - increasing stats, upgrading items, dungeons, NPCs, quests.

This review is based on 100% completion and 19.7 hours of gameplay.
Recommendation:
Would I recommend this game? Yea. This is a simple game that's ideal for relaxing while playing. This game does lack depth; it is simple and easy to understand what is going on both story-wise and in terms of game mechanics. The game has a cosy aesthetic, and the sound design complements it nicely.
Overall, this is a great game for young children or anyone looking for something relaxing to play. If you can wait for a good sale, you'll get the best value on your purchase.
Achievements:
DLC is required for 100% completion, so achievement hunters beware.
Base Game: While there are a few missables, this game features simple achievements that you can complete in a single run with minimal planning. However, none of these will be difficult at all.
DLC:The DLC achievements are again simple, and they are just progression unlocks, so you won't miss them as long as you complete the quests.
DLC
To be honest, the Strangewood DLC didn't add much value to the experience, but it did include a few new areas and an additional few hours of gameplay. I noticed a few things I didn't like:
Noticed minor grammatical errors in text conversations with non-player characters.
Quest flow issues, particularly "collecting the ingredients" which required you to complete the pumpkin riddle, as the NPC refused to communicate otherwise.
And overall, it has just more of the same content as the base game. I don't think the DLC is worth the base price, so wait for a good sale before picking it up.
