Pumpkin Jack

Passend zur Halloween kommt ein Kürbis angeflogen vom Teufel höchstpersönlich, der Teufel hat keine Langeweile, er möchte - nein er will Zerstörung von Arc En Ciel Kingdom! Der Teufel befahl Jack den Zauberer zu eliminieren als Tausch das Jack ruhe von ihm hat. Simple Storyline allerdings punktet hier das Gameplay mit Abwechslungen. Zudem Jack viele Waffen beliebig auswählen kann, um mehr denn "Schaurigen Jack" raus zuhängen gibt es noch Jump & Runs Passagen, Minenlore-Achterbahn bis hin als Kopfloserritter ist alles mit in der Partie.
3D-Plattformer typisch bestreitet man die Gegend, kloppt Monster und findet da Collectibles. Findet man manche diese Rabenmasken kann man es bei einem Kostümhändler tauschen lassen als Gegenleistung einen Skin zu erwerben.

Fazit: Für ein-Mann-Entwickler hat er gute Arbeit geleistet. Das Spiel hat Atmosphäre, Minispiele sind zur 0815 Plattformer mal was erfrischendes jedoch nichts neues. Pumpkin Jack bringt Halloween Vorfreude mit sich, das Spiel ist gut gelungen darüber hinaus wird man gut unterhaltet.

Jeder der 3D Jump 'n runs mag, sollte dieses Spiel spielen.
Richtig nett für zwischendurch.

Pumpkin Jack is a charming action-adventure that feels like a modern love letter to classic 3D platformers — wrapped in fantastic spooky Halloween vibes.

The visuals are spot on: vibrant colors, creepy-cute levels, and an art style that’s instantly fun. Gameplay stays nicely varied with combat, platforming, light puzzles, and mini-games that keep the pace fresh without overstaying their welcome. What I liked most is how smooth and “tight” it feels — it’s easy to get into a great flow.

Jack as a character and the humor hit a sweet spot: not too serious, but never annoying. The soundtrack also supports the atmosphere perfectly.

Verdict: Short, creative, and simply a feel-good Halloween game. Easy recommendation for fans of spooky vibes and classic platformers!

If you like Medievil, its remakes or generally more action-heavy plattformers, like Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter, this game is for you.
Good gameplay-flow, good cartoony graphics and a spooky soundtrack makes this a good game, even though I wouldnt have bought it for 30 bucks, because the game flows really well, it is also quite short.
Its also not that challenging, but I this is a personal plus point for me, because I am currently very fatigued by the fact that almost every indie plattformer is about preciscion.

Ein sehr schönes und gut entwickeltes Spiel. Eine tolle Atomsphäre und überaus gute Musik (hat mich an die alten Spiele auf der PS1 erinnert). Absolut empfehlenswert! (Und endlich interessante Credits am Ende)

Pumpkin Jack ist einer der besten Plattformer, die ich bis jetzt erleben durfte.
Ich liebe die Atmosphäre, die Steuerung ist einfach und angenehm, das Storytelling ist mega, sowie die Story an sich und die Dialoge sind erste Sahne.
Die Kämpfe sind auch für Leute mit zwei linken Tatzen zu schaffen^^
Es ist wirklich ein top Spiel und gerade für 3 Taler im Sale.
Kauft es auf jeden Fall, wenn ihr Interesse habt.
Es lohnt sich :3
