Amazing game, works just like Jsab (Just shapes and beats) but it's not just a "Jsab clone" PA (Project arrhythmia) was actually in development longer than jsab, anyways, if you do think that, think of it like this, PA is more quanity over quality, because there is a level editor, and jsab's has levels that were handmade and such, and i'm not saying any of the people that makes levels in PA are bad at it, there are some really talented people! Just look at OL666, Mecha and Offical Dre, they made amazing levels, and I even made a level. Speaking of such, the editor is really easy to use, sure it looks complicated at first but it's actually really easy to use, and theres an online tutorial for it, just search "Project Arrhythmia editor tutorial" on youtube and you will get results, sure there's really only some tutorial made by 1 guy but they are there, and they do educate as intended. Also I forgot to mention this at 1st but there is a story mode for the game, it isn't done yet but it's coming soon TLDR : Great game, isn't just a jsab clone, easy to use editor. 9/10
I highly recommend anyone that enjoys JSAB to pick up this game. However, don't mistake this game to be out as some sort of rip off of JSAB as PA has been in development for much longer. Now with that out of the way, the game is very much backed up with a strong and dedicated community with countless of levels to choose from. The developer is very much dedicated to making this game the best it can be and I can certainly see that. Thus, I wouldn't worry about this game being abandoned any time soon as a story mode is in the works primarily as of the making of this review. Furthermore, if you're looking to not only look for a game to play unique levels in a similar aspect of JSAB then look no further than the editor. Although at first, you may struggle to use the editor, there’s community-made tutorials and the discord server that will help you get a better idea of how to use the editor. Thus, once you get the hang of the editor it's a very powerful tool letting you create a level to your imagination. More in depth on certain areas: ~ DIFFICULTY ~✅ Anyone can play it (The only content in the game thus far is the level creator and the seemingly endless amount of levels the community has made. Thus, the difficulty for this game is dependent on the levels that the community make ranging from easy to expert+.)🔲 Easy🔲 Normal 🔲 Hard🔲Impossible~ GRAPHICS ~🔲 Bad🔲 Mediocre✅ Graphics don't matter in this game/depends (It's really up to the creator of the levels on if it looks absolutely amazing or if it looks absolutely trash. But besides that, the menu and editor looks clean and does what it sets out to be.)🔲 Good🔲 Beautiful🔲 Masterpiece~ MUSIC ~🔲 Bad🔲 Not special🔲 Good✅ Beautiful (The OST for this game is outstanding for an indie game, especially the menu theme. Plus, you can use any song that is verified in any levels that you make.)~ STORY ~✅ This game has no story (Note: There will be a story mode later down the line, but there's also stories that the community comes up for their own levels so really it feels like there is!)🔲 It's there for the people who want it🔲 Well written🔲 Epic story~ PRICE ~🔲 Free🔲 Underpriced✅ Perfect Price🔲 Could be cheaper🔲 Overpriced🔲 Complete waste of money~ REQUIREMENTS ~🔲 You can run it on a potato PC/Laptop✅ Average (Depends on the level really, but overall an average PC/Laptop will do.)🔲 High end~ LENGTH ~🔲 Short (2 - 15 hours)🔲 Average (15-50 hours)🔲 Long (50-90 hours)✅ Infinite (An endless amount hours can be put into the game without it getting stale.)~ FUN ~🔲 Hard to enjoy🔲 Repetitive🔲 Actually pretty amusing🔲 The kind of fun you'll remember✅ Absolute hell of a ride... in a good frustrating way depending on the level you play!~ REPLAYABILITY~🔲 It's a one-time experience🔲 Only for achievements🔲 Definitely✅ Infinite replayability (You can keep on coming back and play any new level that the community puts out there every day!)~ WORTH BUYING ~🔲 No🔲 Wait for sale✅ Yes absolutely~ OVERALL ~If you enjoy a bullet hell game similar to that of JSAB this one is for sure worth the price. With updates coming in the near future and a seemingly endless amount of levels to choose from, you can spend endless amounts of hours into this game never losing interest.~ SUGGESTION(S) / IDEA(S)~* Point system *Overview:Currently, there's no reason to go out and SS rank levels besides getting a gold glow over the name of the level every time you hover your mouse over the level. Therefore, a way that this could be solved to promote players to SS rank levels is by adding a point system. What I mean by this is by SS ranking levels you get points which then can be used to purchase cosmetics or other things (A death effect for example).Problems related to this suggestion/idea:I understand that players could exploit this and post levels with nothing in them, making it easy to SS rank the level. However, a solution to this could be that a team, or the creator themself, could pick certain levels from the community and make the level give points to players when they SS rank the level. This would not only solve the problem but could also serve a way to involve the community more, as the community could also vote on levels that may deserve the praise of having the ability to grant players who SS rank it with points.
If you like JSAB, Then play this game!

This game is the first game I have ever been able to feel a real connection with. The aesthetic and design is incredible, and I'm very excited for the upcoming story mode! As a game that is currently very community based, not only is the community amazing in itself, but Project Arrhythmia has very easily accessable community features, making it very easy and convenient for community content to be produced and released. I can't recommend this game enough, if you haven't already bought it, I suggest you do it as soon as possible!
Its a great game so far, in my opinion I do believe maybe the dash would need some improvement, other than that, I really like it,,Edit : I think there should be a more explicit tutorial for the level editor, I have tried to watch the videos they linked but didn't helped me much about understanding it
