"Project Arrhythmia" is a musical bullet-hell in which all things beautiful are deadly. Avoid the musically timed pulse of blocks and bars, and in the process you might just find out what this mysterious "Project Arrhythmia" is.

As a level creator for 4 year.
I love the game but the game may have some features that is buggy, unusable or poorly added to the game.
Still I will await for fixed and update.

I was looking for a new game on Steam when I saw Just Shapes & Beats on sale. I knew of this game for a while and have watched it through its whole story mode from other youtubers. I loved the game and so I took this as an opportunity to get it. However, there was one major thing I realized. While you can play it for a while, it missed something important to its replayability factor. A level editor. Don't get me wrong, JSAB is great on its own, especially its story. It is amazing without a level editor. BUT if you are wanting more from it then it just simply can't accomplish that without the developers making updates to it. Here comes Project Arrhythmia.
Suffice to say, I've been blown away by this game. At first, I was excited to find that this game had a level editor. It seemed like a dream and it really is! I was just worried at the time that the game wouldn't be as popular as I had hoped or as high quality as JSAB was in its screen effects and gameplay. However I was proven very wrong when playing this game and honestly I've sunk rock bottom with this game. It's a bit hard to explain but trust me when I say this, if you played any levels in JSAB, many of the levels in the workshop WILL scratch that itch. I personally recommend PA Memories. I have not used the level editor personally, but seeing all the levels in the workshop make me feel as if it is extremely versatile and flexible to use.
With story mode, that was like some sort of fever dream. The cutscenes and lore in this game reminded me of the game Signalis and was honestly just creepy. I am not sure if the developer intended for that, but if they did, you got me extremely well lmao. The eyes scared me. Otherwise, the current story levels are a pretty good introduction into the game. I will mention however, story IS unfinished, when you get this game, you are getting it for the custom levels. NOT the story. The story is just a nice bonus for now.
The recent additions to this game like the new save system and the updates to the editor, make me very confident to believe that the developer strives to improve this game for the upcoming future and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
If they are reading this, thank you for making this game <3. It is wonderful and the years you spent on this game have not gone unwasted.
Edit: Well the creator just updated the game adding a suggestion I provided within 3 hours. That is honestly dedication right there.

Super fun, great design and music. My only complain is that you can't play with multiple people on the same device anymore, at least I can't find the option to.

Love the game, despite looking and being similar to JSaB it's a very epic game. This may be difficult and may not have a story yet, but its still fun despite it's imperfections.

this game is great! i have been playing for over 1,000 hours and i can't wait to see what happens in the story mode, there is a lot of custom levels and it has been a nice story for the game, there is also one bug i get in some levels and i like the bug but if you guys could work on the bug it would be great, its like a invisibility thing so you cant get hurt/die.

jsab but anyone can create a level, and theres so many good ones out there. With over 3,000 community made levels all before the game is fully out is insane. All of the community levels are fun as well, they fit right in with the levels in just shapes and beats. If you've ever wanted a game like just shapes and beasts, this is THE game to play.

Overall, Project Arrhythmia is a great Level Editing game in which you have to TIME your movements precisely. You can even create your own storyline levels using the level editor and test it out in arcade mode. Overall, I'm still hoping for a better update. P.S. Drifting Memories will come soon with a new scrapped character named Frostskader!
