Praey for the Gods is a boss climbing open world adventure game where you play as a lone hero sent to the edge of a dying frozen world to discover the mystery behind a never-ending winter. Arriving with only the clothes on your back, you must survive the colossal dangers that you encounter. To restore balance and reclaim the land from the brink, you will be faced with questions that not even a God knows the answer to. Overcome impossible odds to climb atop and defeat the massive beasts that are bound to this land. You can climb on virtually anything you can get your hands on, from ruins and mountains to the massive beasts that inhabit the land. Ascend to the tops of mountains and then glide over the open world to reach previously inaccessible locations. Swim in frigid water to uncover hidden locations that contain secrets and treasure, but don't stay in too long or your swim could become your last.

Ich habe Shadow of the Colossos als Kind geliebt und hatte Praey for the Gods schon seit Ewigkeiten auf meiner Wunschliste, weil ich gar nicht wirklich geschaut habe was es genau für ein Game ist bis ich es jetzt doch endlich mal gekauft habe und ich hab es keine Sekunde bereut.
Es sieht wirklich schön aus und lief durchgehend flüssig. das Setting kann eventuell etwas eintönig werden aber mir hat es wirklich gut gefallen durch die verschneiten Ruinen zu traben und allerlei dinge dazwischen zu finden. Wie schon zu anfang erwähnt liebe ich Shadow of the colossos weil es eine Kindheitserinnerung von mir ist und dieses Spiel hat jede Sekunde davon perfekt eingefangen. Die Bosse sind alle wirklich schön und abwechslungsreich, auch wenn manche ziemlich einfach waren. Habe auf Normal gespielt und nur den Survival Aspekt auf schwer gestellt, hatte aber nie wirkliche Probleme.
Ich kanndas Spiel also wirklich nur empfehlen, wenn man SotC schon gut fand damals.

Not the biggest title, but the mechanics are done well with no major issues and I cant stress enough how much I enjoyed the game world and atmosphere. I could easily see this concept be expanded into something bigger.

Spiel kann man empfehlen. Die Bosskämpfe sind echt gelungen. Die Geschichte ist allerdings nicht so cool. Da hätte man sich mehr reinhängen können.
Grafisch gar nicht mal so schlecht. Leider fehlt dem Mädel ein wenig die Mimik. Ein bisschen mehr Leben im Charakter wäre cool.
Es geht hier aber nur um die Bosskämpfe und die sind, wie eingangs schon gesagt, gelungen.
