Planet Alpha is not that bad of a game.
Plays similar to games such as "Limbo", "INSIDE", "Burning Daylight" and "Black The Fall".
Explore lush forests and solve pretty simple platformer puzzles.
The Unreal Engine 3D graphics stand out and take away from the style, but that is to be expected from an indie game.
Some parts required hair-trigger accuracy and the enemies spot/react almost instantly. Annoying.
Average game, good enough to relax and kill some time.

A flawed but pretty enjoyable cinematic platformer.
The platforming feels like Inside, which is to say, feels bad and unresponsive. And there's not really much of a story.
But the cool art direction and the set pieces were enough to keep me playing.

No one is reading this anyway, so I'll just say that I'm glad I bought this game. And if this review gets 100 likes I'll be even more glad. Now, to be serious: Planet Alpha is absolutely worth buying on sale. It's a moderately challenging platformer with stealth and puzzle elements. Not a walking simulator, but not something that makes you rage quit either. And don't worry that your PC is too old for it. Play it on GeForce NOW and thank me later.

Great game, amazingly enthralling visuals. Story could have been clearer, but the visuals made everything worth it!
I found myself willingly losing track of time as I delved into the puzzles and mysteries of this breathtaking universe. The ability to manipulate time added a unique layer to the gameplay. While the story did leave some room for improvement and the puzzles occasionally stumped me to the point of needing walkthroughs, the sheer allure of the visuals kept me engaged and motivated to push forward. Despite its minor narrative flaws, Planet Alpha stands out as an exceptional example of how visuals can drive player immersion and emotional connection.

Played in VR mode. Not perfect, but very immersive. Beautiful game. Short and sweet.

First of all, if you have some crash issues, just try to put this cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%" as launch options. (have no idea if the cmd has to be keep, but it worked for me just by quitting the cmd window)
This game is more of an experience than a game in itself, with most of the gameplay based on basic movements (moving horizontally, jumping, stooping and pushing), it's a contemplative platformer. But the beauty of the game lies in the progression through the various scenes, which are a succession of beautiful landscapes with a pleasant level design that allows you to move forward intuitively. The soundtrack, the music and the atmosphere are lovely and in keeping with the world being explored. The puzzles may not seem obvious at first glance, but they are largely doable with a bit of patience and thought. I played the game in one go and didn't notice the time passing. It's a truly incredible game that I highly recommend.
The only negative points would be the enemy paterns that don't reset when you die, and also the end of the game, which I found a little disappointing and didn't add any more lore to the game.
