Plague: London 1665
Welcome to “Pleague: London 1665,” an RPG pixel art game set during one of history’s most devastating pandemics. The streets and alleys are swamped with the sick and dead, and only a few people are willing to risk their lives to remove the bodies.
As a body collector and graveyard keeper, it is your job to keep the city of London clear of corpses and give the deceased a proper burial. But this is not just a job, it is a means of survival. With the outbreak of the Bubonic Plague in full swing, resources are scarce and competition for them is fierce. You must weigh the need to provide for your family against the risk of contracting the disease.
Navigate the treacherous streets of London, scavenging for resources and trading with other survivors while avoiding the deadly disease that threatens to claim the lives of thousands. As the body collector and graveyard keeper, you will be in high demand, but you must weigh the cost of this well-paying job against the risk.
As you progress through the game, you will come across a number of NPCs, each with their own story and agenda. You will have the opportunity to make critical decisions that will impact the game’s outcome. Will you prioritize the well-being of the city, the needs of your family, or your own survival?
With a focus on historical accuracy and intense gameplay, “Plague: London 1665” offers a unique and immersive experience of being a body collector, risking your life to clear out the streets, all for a hefty paycheck and the well-being of the city.

A realistic portrayal of London during the Bubonic Plague. Your role is the plague doctor to buy bodies and keep your family fed.
Pros:
- Realistic pixel graphics of London buildings and clothing of residents.
- Music reflects medieval London vibe.
Cons:
- Not enough tasks besides burying bodies. Besides looking for random items to make traps and pulling bodies outside of river, there is not much else to do. This was my observation after playing through 4-5 days within the game.
- Having a good Morality does not have a noticeable impact in game. Change it by allowing you to earn money or other items if you maintain a good morality.
Suggestions:
- In the intro, remind the player to read help menu before playing. This will reduce chance player is confused how to bury dead or other aspects like doing tasks.
- Allow city map available from menu for viewing any time.
- NPCs do not play an active role in the story/game, add some church members or other characters that add to the story or affect your decisions.
- Move house towards center of map and walking back and forth from graveyard wastes time for the player.
- Have 2 active feed family quests at same time. If food is not in stock or you don't have enough money, you can't feed them by the deadline.
- At night, add special events or tasks for the player to do. Mini games to get money or trap parts.
- Explain the benefit of building traps. Do we catch mouse to eat them, stop spreading plague, or other reason?
- Add scenes or newspaper stories of families crying, feeling depressed, or asking God why a family member died. This is mass death incident and it does not feel hopeless enough.
- When a family member dies to starvation, your character has no reaction. Add a scene where you feel angry or frustrated.
Conclusion: A pixel game that gives you a realistic experience of surviving during the Bubonic Plague. They have released patches to improve the game and put in effort to make the game historically accurate. Adding some changes to the map and enhancing tasks will make this a complete experience. At this time, I can recommend this game with the hope that the developers make some changes.

An interesting work in terms of concept, which gives off notes of Pathalogic with its gloom and hopelessness. With relatively rare game mechanics, this is not a bad thing

An interesting game that will test our survival skills during a devastating plague outbreak. We will have to explore the streets of London, avoiding the deadly epidemic, competently managing our resources and making difficult decisions, on which the life of the protagonist will depend. In addition, we will interact with the game characters, each of whom has their own story and motives to uncover the truth about the outbreak of a deadly disease. In the process of passing the game, we will constantly have to make difficult moral choices, which will affect the fate of the hero and the city as a whole, and a pleasant but gloomy visual style and exciting soundtrack will immerse us in the game for a long time.
