Pikuniku is an absurdly wonderful puzzle-exploration game that takes place in a strange but playful world where not everything is as happy as it seems. Help peculiar characters overcome struggles, uncover a deep state conspiracy, and start a fun little revolution in this delightful dystopian adventure!

quoth a conversation recently.
I have no idea when I got this game. This basically showed up in my library.
I progressed to a point in the game where I was laughing my ass off so hard I fell out of my chair. People were worried that I'd lost connection, when I'd actually collapsed onto the floor and was noiselessly laughing because the absurdity of the situation was just that funny to me. 11/10, I want to experience this game for the first time again.

Emailed the devs to show them a video of my 3-year-old having the time of his life kicking the NPCs around town, to which they replied:
"This is so lovely!
And it make me really happy!
Thanks for sharing"
So basically best devs and also great game (we still do the driving levels every Friday)

I first heard about this game from one of Noodle's videos about great indie games, and this game delivered said expectations. This game combines absurd comedy, physics based platforming, and a simple captivating story that creates a really enjoyable short experience. The co-op utilizing this puzzle physics based platforming and adding a rope leads to an enjoyable co-op mode you and your friends will laugh at the absurd situations you will encounter.
Although I have my qualms with some of the achievements being missable, the game story is short to where it is not a problem to get those achievements in a new game. All around I would say this game is worth it's price point.

I believe Pikuniku stands out the most in terms of its gameplay style. It has a very unique and interesting style, as its graphics, dialogues, and even the way the in-game sport, baskick, is integrated into the main storyline make it special. What's particularly fun is that baskick can be played with a friend in offline multiplayer mode, making it a great party game as well.
The game's graphics fit perfectly with its style, though they are not the main focus, which means it can run smoothly even on a low-end "potato" PC. The dialogues are excellently written, and the characters are hilarious. One of the best things about the game, in my opinion, is the ability to play with a friend, whether it's the aforementioned baskick tournament or shorter levels designed for co-op gameplay.
Another impressive aspect of the game is the movement of NPCs. Their animations are so well done that they almost feel like real players. This is especially noticeable during the baskick tournament or when you start kicking an NPC—after a while, they will even fight back!
Overall, I think Pikuniku is a fantastic and entertaining game that is definitely worth its price.
