Pikuniku is an absurdly wonderful puzzle-exploration game that takes place in a strange but playful world where not everything is as happy as it seems. Help peculiar characters overcome struggles, uncover a deep state conspiracy, and start a fun little revolution in this delightful dystopian adventure!

Emailed the devs to show them a video of my 3-year-old having the time of his life kicking the NPCs around town, to which they replied:
"This is so lovely!
And it make me really happy!
Thanks for sharing"
So basically best devs and also great game (we still do the driving levels every Friday)

Pikuniku is essentially Capitalism for Babies in game format. I played the game alongside my 5 y.o. child who was able to enjoy the game with help reading out the dialogues and solving some of the harder puzzles and battles. Just like the characters in the Pikuniku universe, she started out being very excited about seeing Mr. Sunshine and the prospect of getting "free money", but gradually started to question his actions. The game became a helpful tool in explaining the impacts of rampant capitalism and overexploitation of resources. This was of course all possible by the virtue of the game's entertaining storyline and gags, enjoyable soundtrack, as well as endearing character designs. All this at an affordable price, to boot. Now that we have completed the game, we have also had fun playing the co-op stages together.

10/10 kicked EVERYTHING.
Only downside, and i cannot stress this enough, the keybinds cannot be changed and they suck more than Mr Sunshine T_T Play with a controller, your wrists will thank me

Pikuniku is a wonderfully charming game with a very simple story about the evils of capitalism. The gameplay is relatively simple yet fun to play (I think I spent like half an hour kicking everything and spinning into a ball as the mechanics was so fun).
Just completed it yesterday - it is a very simple and easy game to play. It is kid friendly, but can be appreciated and enjoyed by adults too.
I think I paid like £10 for this game, and normally I would advise against paying that kind of money for something so short, but there is a lot of polish in the gameplay and presentation, and it's just super charming. And with that said, there is even more to explore.
I would say that it is kind of worth it for £10, but definitely worth it at a 25%+ discount.

I put off playing this game for a while and I should never have done that. If you like the OG Animal Crossing dialogue or are a fan of Katamari, I highly recommend this game for its dialogue. Characters insult you whimsically, they tell you not to let cheese pasta sauce harden lest the dishes become difficult, they wear shirts you draw.
