PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist

Honestly a remarkably good platformer for a game based on a YouTuber. The controls are smooth and responsive, and both jumping on enemies and using powers feel appropriately satisfying. The pixel artstyle is pleasing to look at and the soundtrack is just bloody great. The game has a nice variety of environments to play through and a couple different level types, which keeps the game interesting.

There are a few different YouTubers to play as, each of which have both unique abilites to differenciate them from each other, as well as access to powers shared across the cast. Among these characters is the rather unfortunate inclusion of one particular asshole, but that's not something anyone knew about at the time, so you can't really blame the devs for adding him in.

Overall I fully recommend Legend of the Brofist. The vast majority of the references will completely go over your head if you weren't a fan of Pewdiepie back in the day, as is to be expected, but the experience doesn't rely on them and it's still a solid, enjoyable platformer for everyone else.
