Jestem zachwycony tą grą. To diament znaleziony w popiele.

After years of running and playing classic D&D 3.5 sessions, I dove into Pathfinder: Kingmaker with high expectations-and it delivered a truly classic RPG experience that feels like a proper pen-and-paper campaign brought to life. The Pathfinder ruleset is a natural evolution of 3.5, and the game captures that complexity and depth beautifully
Pros
+ Faithful adaptation of Pathfinder (aka "D&D 3.75"): If you love D&D 3.5, you'll feel right at home.
+ Good character creation and progression: Lot of classes, archetypes, and feats let you build almost any character concept you can imagine
+ Companions with real personality: The game offers a diverse cast of companions, each with their own backstory and personal quests
+ clocked around 150 hours (mostly in turn-based, on Steam Deck). The turn-based mode is well-implemented and feels true to the tabletop roots
+ The narrative is engaging with choices that reflect your kingdom and some voice acting in key scenes ( not enough IMO )
+ The kingdom management adds extra layer of immersion and is a fun touch adding to you trying to be king
Cons
- Mid-game pacing issues: After a major story milestone you become ruller of stolen lands , there's a long stretch of kingdom management downtime where not much happens ( even if you do all side quests) . It can feel like filler if you prefer constant adventure.
- Late-game dungeon House at the Edge of Time is notorious for its frustrating fog mechanic and tough enemies
- While the core system is robust, in practice I found myself spamming the same few spells (hello, fireball) rather than experimenting with a broader arsenal.
-Kingdom management can feel like a chore. The system is unique, but at times it interrupts the flow of classic adventuring.
If you love classic RPG , D&D, Pathfinder or it's computer adaptaions like Baldur Gates - this is the game for you. Despite some pacing issues and a few frustrating dungeons, I had a blast and will definitely be playing the sequel after a well-earned rest. Highly recommended for pen-and-paper veterans

Jedna z najlepszych gier RPG. Długa, wciągająca, ze znaczącymi wyborami, dużą ilością tekstu i rozwojem postaci.

Całkiem przyzwoita gra RPG w starym stylu. W starym stylu dalej wymaga łatek :)

I started my adventure with Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, which was fantastic. Pathfinder: Kingmaker is solid. I was used to classic RPGs such as Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale. Here it's a slightly different system, but I'm still having a great time. It's a shame there aren't more games like this on the market.
