やっていてメガドライブのアドバンスド大戦略を思い出した。自分の育てた部隊が進化していくのはやっていて楽しい。
強い兵器でただ殴ればいいというデザインではないところがいい。ちゃんと兵器の種類ごとに役割があって、兵器ごとの特殊なルールがあったり、包囲に意味があったりと面白い。ちゃんと役割分けがあるので平地での戦いと市街戦がまるで変ってくる。市街戦での戦車はまじで雑魚。ちゃんと大規模市街戦マップを想定した部隊づくりをしないと地獄絵図になる。うまく市街戦の過酷さを演出で来ていて、初回プレー時に感動した。
ルールがわかってくると敵の崩し方もすぐわかり、最速ターンで攻略もできるようになる。そうなると軍事費にかなりの余裕ができて、市街戦も敵の鉄壁の陣地も突破することが可能。結果、史実ルート以外のIFシナリオも攻略可能になります。
