A simplistic timewaster, in which you can just disconnect and mindleslly play a form of match-three tetris. If you're bored and have time to waste, this mini-game can keep you occupied for hours.

Packed Train is a simple match'em game.
You need to place the shapes in the play field and matching three or more of a colour clears that part of the field. The goal is to match the required amount for the level without running out of space on the field. They have thrown in quests to provide more to do like matching a certain amount of a given colour or not using a certain colour during a level. There is also a timed mode where the carriges of the train move after a short time and you need to match the required amount before you run out of carriges, it unlocks after level three of the zen mode.
The main zen mode is just that and trying to acomplish the quests is what keeps the game play fun for the first hour. Without them it is pretty easy but it looks like soon after the first hour you begin to run out of room and need to play more carefully. It is just before this point that the game introduces ice blocks. These, when played, clear two blocks from the play area giving you valuable room but using one will often invalidate a quest.
The game is fun for an hour or so and is priced appropriatly at $2.

I think this would be a great game for kids.
Very simple to learn, rather easy to master.
The visual style is very much child friendly.
And It is just nice overall, simply enjoyable.
Some adults might also get a kick out of it.
Just a neat little casual arcade time waster.
The default price of this game is quite tiny.
And It simply is a perfect gift for your kids.
It only requires a mouse. So easy to teach.
This game seems to lack windowed mode.
But that won't matter much to young kids.
I have to give this game: a positive review.
Definitely worth the asking price, for sure.
I'm pretty sure it was all designed for kids.
Perfect for 1st grade in terms of difficulty.
There's also a 'challenge mode' available.
Which might be suited for like 3rd grade.
Dunno, depends on the skills of your kid.
But It's definitely worth buying for them.

Another tetris-like thing with the simplest gameplay. However, its simplicity is not annoying. On the contrary, it helps to distract from the problems for a short time.
Actually, I don't see big problems because of which I wouldn't recommend it. Though this game doesn't have any outstanding details.

Verdict. A small nice game that can kill your free time. Good offer for the price of 50 cents. By adding more points of attraction, the authors could possibly attract more people.

Yep, it's cheap. Yep, it's kinda fun for a while. Yep, it's cute...in a weird way. Haven't seen hide nor hair of the Steam Leaderboards touted on the game's page. Seems to be only one, yes, a whole ONE puzzle to complete via words even though in the game there's a place to click where you can supposedly see your comleted puzzles...as in plural. Two questions asked in the forums (whew, that's gotta be a record low for any game that's been out for 3 months) and neither with a shred of response from developers. Can a developer answer in shreds? No idea. If there was a rating for MEH I'd choose that.

Wake up (wake up)
Grab a ticket, now hop on the crazy train
Hide the tetronimoes, don’t let them block your way (hide the tetronimoes, don’t let them-)
Why’d you leave the blocks on the train, though?
Here you go, creating chaos with blocks—again! You wanted to

Hide the tetronimoes, don’t let them block your way, you wanted to
Why’d you leave the blocks on the train, though? You wanted to
I don’t think you trust
In my ability to stack blocks right
I cry when the tetronimoes just won’t fit!

Ryan George Style Pitch Meeting: "Packed Train"
Game Designer: So, you have a quirky little puzzle game about cute creatures and a train for me?
Publisher: Yes, sir! I do!
Game Designer: Alright, so imagine this: you’re packing cute, squishy little creatures of all shapes and sizes onto a train. It's simple, fun, and you’ll keep coming back for more!
Publisher: What?
Game Designer: What?
Publisher: Well, okay then! So, what exactly do you do in this game?
Game Designer: Oh, it's super simple! You just take these adorable creatures—shapes like squiggly little blobs and weird cubes—and you pack them onto the train. But here’s the twist: it’s a puzzle game! You gotta figure out how to fit ‘em all in. It’s like playing Tetris, but with adorable creatures and trains!
Publisher: Very considerate! So, the game’s a puzzle where you fit the creatures onto the train. How do you make it interesting?
Game Designer: Well, let me tell you: every level is a new challenge! You get to move creatures around, resize them with power-ups, and watch them squish into place like a jigsaw puzzle of pure cuteness. The levels get harder, but in a fun way—not one of those “I’m gonna cry and give up” ways. It’s addictively satisfying!
Publisher: Well, okay then! What makes it different from other puzzle games?
Game Designer: Well, unlike other puzzle games, this one is just SO CUTE! It’s like if you were solving puzzles while being hugged by a fluffy cloud. It’s that adorable. Plus, there’s something oddly relaxing about packing creatures onto a train while hearing chill background music. You’ll want to do it all day!
Publisher: Wow wow wow. Wow. So, how does the game actually play?
Game Designer: So the goal is simple: you take creatures, pack them onto the train, and make sure you have room for everyone. The catch? The train’s only so big, and the creatures come in all sizes. You need to think carefully, but it’s not frustrating—it’s like a calm, fuzzy challenge that makes you feel like a puzzle master. And the best part? You can move ‘em around with power-ups! You can resize ‘em, squish ‘em, and give ‘em their own little space!
Publisher: Very considerate! Sounds like a very cozy experience. How long are the levels?
Game Designer: Some are quick, some take a bit longer, but the cool thing is, there’s no pressure! It’s like a cozy train ride where you just... vibe. Each level’s got its own little vibe—cute, chill, and fun. Perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Publisher: Well, okay then! So, what’s the ultimate goal here?
Game Designer: Well, you keep solving puzzles and filling up trains, but it’s not about winning or losing—it's about that sweet, sweet satisfaction of packing everything in just right. You’re like the most efficient train conductor ever. The puzzle’s complete, the creatures are happy, and you’re just vibing. It’s the ultimate feeling of accomplishment!
Publisher: Wow wow wow. Wow. So what’s the vibe? Is it relaxing or stressful?
Game Designer: Totally relaxing! You’re not stressing about time limits or failing—just stacking creatures and listening to soft music while the train chugs along. It’s like a peaceful little journey every time you play!
Publisher: Well, okay then! Sounds perfect for winding down, but are there any challenges?
Game Designer: Oh, for sure! The levels get trickier as you go on, so you’ll have to think more about how to organize the creatures, especially when the train fills up. But it’s never unfair—it’s all about being clever with your space and power-ups. A perfect balance of challenge and fun.
Publisher: Alright, I’m sold! I love me some adorable creatures and chill train vibes.
Game Designer: Great! Let’s do this. Choo choo, motherpackers!
Dishonest Trailer: Packed Train
In a world where trains are supposed to be organized… comes a game that will make you wish you’d never seen a tetronimo in your life.
Get ready for Packed Train, the game where you attempt to fit sentient blocks into an already overcrowded train and fail spectacularly! Forget efficient travel; this is all about shoving your problems into tight spaces and hoping they don’t explode into pure chaos.
Choose your own disaster and watch as your train gets progressively more ridiculous, like a clown car full of overenthusiastic, block-shaped passengers. Think you're good at Tetris? Wrong. Think you can organize these tetronimoes? LOL nope.
Experience the thrill of:
>Shoving blocks into spots that you KNOW don’t fit but doing it anyway because why not?
>Trying to plan your moves, only to realize every decision you make is a step closer to blockpocalypse.
>Watching the train get increasingly more packed, and by "packed," we mean a hot mess of desperate, squished tetronimoes and regret.
>Becoming best friends with your conductor, as they silently judge your stacking skills with every clattering train stop.
Packed Train: It’s a game where spatial awareness and order take a backseat to chaos, anxiety, and, occasionally, screaming. Will you manage to shove those last few tetronimoes in, or will you be buried in the wreckage of your bad decisions?
Packed Train: Because why just ride a train when you can watch it collapse under the weight of your mismanagement?
In a world where trains are packed with squish,
Creatures of all shapes and sizes, make a wish.
They're blobs, they're cubes, they roll and they slide,
They'll squeeze and squish, with nowhere to hide!
Power-ups galore, resize them with flair,
Squish 'em, stack 'em, and fill up the air!
The train's on a journey, with creatures inside,
But oh no—space is tight, don’t let them collide!
No stress, no sweat, just puzzle-filled bliss,
Each squishy block’s a sweet, blocky kiss.
It’s not about winning, it’s just about fun,
Pack 'em in tight, 'til the day is done!
The train’s always moving, no time to slow,
Creatures get squishier as you go!
Stack ‘em, stretch ‘em, or make them small,
Pack ‘em in tight—who cares about space at all?
In this packed-up world, just do your best,
Squish those tetronimos, forget the rest!
So grab your ticket and hop on the train,
Let the chaos begin—it’s the cutest brain strain!
