Welcome to Clover Town! Ova Magica combines the best of the JRPG, farming, and monster taming genres with life-sim elements – to bring you a wholesome game inspired by the classics. An ode to some of your favorite games, from Stardew Valley and Slime Rancher, to timeless classics such as Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, Pokémon, Grandia, Jade Cocoon and Azure Dream!
After moving to take care of a farmstead in a quaint little hamlet called Clover Town, you’re introduced to something that changes your life forever: Blobs! Blobs are cute, wobbly, and rotund creatures which hatch from eggs. Treat them with care and they can become your greatest companions! Coming in dozens of varieties (with all of them being cross-breedable!), Blobs can face off against rival blob trainers and help you out around the farm with their unique abilities.
As your relationship with the locals (some of whom you might choose to settle down with!) and town increases, the secrets of Clover Town start to unlock in front of you. And by secrets, we mean hidden temples, dungeons, and portals to exotic dimensions! These new worlds contain strange items and priceless artifacts that hold the key to the town’s – and your own – future. What will you write in the history book of Clover Town?
Main features
Blobs hatch from eggs and it’s up to you to train them! To make your blobs stronger, you need to feed them well and give them lots of love! Pay attention to their favourite foods, and play with them often to deepen your bond!
They come in many colors and shapes, and can be of the Forest, Storm or Magma type. In the world of Ova Magica, people live side by side with these cute creatures, and you can raise them to be strong, loyal friends and sidekicks! To make your blobs stronger, you must feed them well, pet them and use specific skills in battles.
Your blobs can also help you with your farm work. As your blobs become stronger and more skilled, you can ask them to perform certain scheduled tasks for you to increase your productivity! For example, you can ask the turtle blob to take care of a section of your farm to water it every day. But be careful! Don’t overwork them or take advantage of them… and if they get hungry, they won’t work!
You can grow everything from normal crops, berry bushes, and fruit trees, to heart fruit, weird herbs, and mushrooms from other dimensions! From your harvest you can cook high-quality food for your blobs to help them grow healthy and strong. Or alternatively, test your skills as a trader and sell them on the local market in Clover Town!
You can make friends and build relationships with different characters. Talking, battling and gifting increases your friendship and unlocks new events, places and more. There are wonderful stories you can experience! Through conversations, gifts and blob battles you can increase your friendship. This will unlock numerous events and quests that will let you get to know the characters better!
Fight against other trainers and wild blobs. Experience a strategic Active Time Battle system with a little twist! Attacks throw you back to the ATB bar and can even cancel your current action. Think carefully when it’s time to defend, and when to attack. Also be sure to plan to use the right skill type to gain elementary advantages!
To find rare blob eggs, legendary items, and rare crafting materials, you’ll need to go on expeditions into the blob worlds. You can summon portals by placing an item on the altar! These dungeons change every time you enter them! In the end, a strong blob Emperor boss guards the rare eggs. A tough battle awaits you!
Grow stronger and unique blobs! You can crossbreed all blobs!
Create your dream team and become the strongest trainer.
Enjoy many wholesome activities and things to do around Clover Town! You can work on your fishing skills, or catch some bugs. Mine some ore to build a few parts for your juicing machine, or perhaps you’d like to pop by the Blob League to get the latest news on the latest tournaments?
Gather resources to create new items with the workbench and decorate your farm and home! On your adventures you’ll find many blueprints to decorate your farm and home! Some of these will help you to refine or process materials you couldn’t before, like the furnace or juicer, or grow exotic and weird new crops, help your productivity or just let you relax in comfort!

Wonderful Farm and RPG Adventure Simulation
This game piqued my interest since I saw the trailer.
The world of Ova Magica is super charming and filled with so many activities you can do.
Befriend the characters in Clover Town, build wonderful additions for the town and make Clover Town to a memorable place you won’t ever forget.
There are 13 characters you can befriend, they’re all super cute and unique in their own way.
Besides the farm and town you have to manage there’s also the blob world and also the blob league.
You basically can adventure around while training and exploring and become a strong blob trainer.
You even can aim for the champion title!
It is very amazing how many opportunities the game gives you.
There’s so much to do!
It really is a Pokémon Farming game, just with super adorable blobs.
You can train them however you want it, you even can breed blobs.
I have to say something about the atmosphere and music…
Wow it’s so very beautiful, there were music tracks I had tears in my eyes because they’re so pretty!
It suits the scenery perfectly.
Sometimes I stop at specific places because I just listen to the beautiful music.
The Controls on Steamdeck are very comfortable and very quick to understand.
Ova Magica has proven so much potential and I’m super happy with the game.
I still discover neat secrets here and there.
I also found an absolute wonderful characters in this game.
If people like characters with depths and touching stories and also love to raise cute creatures then this game definitely catches your interest.
Be sure farming takes time, but there are blobs they can help you out.
Blobs are your lifesavers in this game.
I recommend the game to everyone who plays games like Story of Seasons, Pokémon and Stardew Valley.
It’s super comfy and can be super exciting as well.
It suits my play style and interest 100%.

Eine wirklich gelungenes early Access Game.
Viele spiele kommen sonst mit Bugs raus, die dass Spiel unspielbar machen. Hier gab es keinen einzigen Bug, Absturz oder ähnliches.
Was ja leider heutzutage nicht normal ist.
Zum allgemeinen Gameplay:
Das Spiel ist ein wunderbares Cozy Game, was man entspannt zwischendurch aber auch mal gut drin versinken kann. Es ist mit schönen und niedlichen Grafiken gestaltet, welche man in Gesprächen, bei den Blobs, kleinen Details im Hintergrund und vieles mehr.
Der raffinierte Einsatz der Blobs beim farmen, Wässern, Angeln und vieles mehr macht es lebendiger.
Es Gab zum Start ein paar Probleme beim Kampf, wo man nicht genau wusste welches Element der Gegner hat.
Aber dieses Problem wurde schnell und clever gelöst.
Was zeigst, dass die Entwicklerin mit Herzblut an ihrem Spiel liegt.
Macht weiter so und dass Spiel wird immer "noch" Besser :D

Super süßes , cozy Spiel !
Für den Preis gibt es für Farming Fans nichts zu überlegen oder zu bereuen.
Ich habe jetzt mein erstes Jahr gespielt und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen, obwohl es noch einiges zu entdecken gibt.
Pros:
+ Süße Blobs mit goldigen oder nützlichen Skills
+ nette Charaktere, wenn auch in typische Stereotypen eingeteilt ( soweit ich sie kennen lernen dürfte ( Heart Event 2+3))
+ farbenfrohes Dörfchen in dem man sich schnell wohl fühlt
+ es gibt viele Optionen zum Ausbauen der Stadt
+ nicht zu leicht/ nicht zu schwere Blob-Kämpfe
+ old fashioned Schieberätsel im Dungeon ( die kein Zwang sind wenn man sie nicht mögen sollte, ich feiere sie , mehr Motive wären nur toll!)
+ abwechslungsreiche Events, die vor allem mit kurzweiligen Minigames , saisonalen Items und Blobs vollgepackt sind.
Zudem sind sie echt sehr schön dekoriert. Da wird das innere Kind in mir geweckt.
+ erfrischende, kürzere Wochen als in jedem anderen Farmspiel ( 3 x 4 Tage) ( nach dem neusten Patch leider nicht mehr.. ab sofort 5x4 Tage, was sich viele wohl wünschten)
+ cooles Fortbewegungsmittel!
+ Entwickler patchen bereits fröhlich und gehen auf Feedback ein!
+ ... vieles , vieles mehr.
Cons:
- Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack beißen ( selbst mit Blob Skill) beim Angeln zu wenige Fische und zu viele Blobs an (höchstwahrscheinlich subjektiv)
- Das Spiel macht süchtig und da es in Early-Access ist, ist teilweise Geduld gefragt, bis neue Inhalte kommen.

bereits ein sehr vielversprechendes spiel im early access mit wenigen bugs und einem durchaus hohen umfang an content. es fehlt definitiv noch einiges, sodass man ein wenig in der luft hängt, aber ich bereue die spielzeit absolut nicht.
für meinen geschmack sieht die grafik wirklich nicht gut aus, das ist mein am deutlichsten empfundenes defizit, aber erstens ist das komplett subjektiv, außerdem entschädigen spielatmosphäre und ideen enorm.
hier wird für fans des genres meiner meinung nach eine hervorragende arbeit geleistet, die in mancher hinsicht ihresgleichen sucht. beispielsweise fand ich zuvor noch nie die festivals so sinnvoll und motivierend. auch das socializing macht mir großen spaß, so wie vieles andere.
absolute kaufempfehlung, wenn man das genre mag.

Nette Grafik, ausserdem habe ich magische Lagerkisten und eine Schnellreisefunktion, was will man mehr. Lustige Events und verschiedene Minispiele, die Blob-Welt ist lustig zu entdecken und die Stadtbewohner haben ernsthafte Freundesgruppen und Hintergrundgeschichten, das finde ich cool, einige der Hintergrundgeschichten finde ich echt interessant. Mir gefällt das Spiel also sehr gut, ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass ich wirklich entscheiden kann, was ich machen will, ob ich jetzt mehr Farmen will oder eher Abenteurer sein will.

Ich war sehr überrascht, wie viel Content das Spiel bereits hat (Version 0.8) und wie viel noch geplant ist. Trotz Early Access habe ich keinerlei Bugs entdeckt und die Inhalte machen sehr viel Spaß. Die Entwickler sind sehr aktiv und gehen auf die Wünsche der Community ein!
Das schrittweise Freischalten von neuen Inhalten ist sehr motivierend und es gibt keinerlei Zeitdruck. Die Tageslänge kann individuell eingestellt werden und man kann sich seinen Fortschritt gänzlich selbst einteilen.
Einzelne Elemente des Spiels sind selbstverständlich noch ausbaufähig sind. Meines Erachten ist das Farmen etwas mühsam und das Züchten etwas zu zufällig. Persönlich sind mir auch die potentiellen Partner zu kindlich.
Auf Discord wurden bereis weitere QOL-Updates gezeigt, sodass das Spiel künftig jedenfalls noch besser wird. Klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden, der Farming Spiele mit Kampf/Monster-Elementen mag!

In short: If you enjoy turn-based creature battles (similar to Pokémon) and love Farming Sims with all the extras (romances, etc.), then THIS is the game for you!
I was originally looking for a farming sim and struggled whether this game was right for me. Since Pokémon lost me generations ago, but I still enjoyed playing the older games (especially Ruby/Saphire), I thought I'd give it a try. And I was not disappointed! The graphics are simple, chibi characters without mouth and nose, although the little feet irritate me much more. The world is colorful, but you can turn down the saturation, that helps enormously and I am grateful for this feature.
So far I haven't had any bugs or glitches, the game is running very well, as if it isn't in Early Access.
The game is challenging despite its cute appearance and you can adjust the difficulty in the game quite quickly (the higher you climb in the Blob League, the higher the world level becomes).
Blobs help you with farm work, which is super cute and enormously helpful. As usual in a typical farming sim, there is a romance option that is not tied to gender, which makes me very happy.
The dev is a cutie and active in Discord Channel. Huge plus! :D
