Out There
Out There is an award-winning space exploration game blending roguelike, resource management and interactive fiction. You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but… out there… in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply. Space is an hostile place ; dangerous and mysterious adventures will mark each step of your travel. You will not only meet intelligent species that won’t care about you, but also deal with ancient powers linked to your destiny and the fate of mankind itself. Survival and understanding of what is really at stake in the galaxy is the core of what Out There has to offer.

Is it a good game? Not really. But the unique lonely, hopeless space vibe is lit here that's what i liked most. Extremely repetitive game but somewhat enjoyable.

좋은 게임이냐 하면 좀 애매하다. 뭔가 독특하게 외롭고 희망이 없는 우주 분위기가 좋아서 하게 된듯. 엄청나게 반복적인 게임이지만 나름 즐거웠다.

This game barely gets a thumbs up from me, mostly because of its fresh concept, great art, and nice music. However, the core issue is that the game is 90% luck. No matter how skilled you are, you’re constantly at the mercy of random events that dictate your success.
You can spend hours capturing new ships, researching tech, and gathering resources, only to have it all wiped out by an arbitrary event that drains your fuel or resources, leaving you stuck in a solar system with no way to recover. It happens way too often and can turn a promising playthrough into an infuriating experience in just a few moves.
What makes it worse is that the developers seem determined to keep the game luck-based, as evidenced by their responses on the forums. They seem focused on making space travel feel tough, but it ends up feeling more random and frustrating than challenging.
It’s a shame because this game has potential. I really hope modders will fix it, like they did with FTL.

Out There: Ω Edition is an okay game with a few shortcomings.
The UI elements are placed suboptimal.
Too few statistics are shown; if I scanned a planet already, I want to see the results on the star map or at least the orbital map.
No overfiew map.
The randomness factor is to big for my taste.
But does it make fun? It can be.
My rating 6/10, recommended.

Fun game, but the resource management is WAY too brutal. Takes some luck and patience to even get into the game.

Absolutely like the design, but the game is fery hard.
Nearly finished it 3 times, but failed all of them...
And don't want to try again...
Very interesting game.

Very cool game. Takes a while to master but it's fun. Unfortunately it's no longer being developed, so the little bugs it has will stay forever. And a free play mode would be nice.
