A derpy, dialogue-heavy RPG with multiple endings, stat checks, and choices with consequences, set in a factory run by robots. Make crucial decisions like whether to turn an upside down box, right side up. Work your way up the ranks and help the factory deliver the mysterious “Product” to the masses.

This is amazingly snarky, meta, and clever.
An RPG full of choices and dialogue.
It reminds me of The Stanley Parable with more RPG elements.
Find out what the "product" is.
Electrocute a kitten.
Shoot someone in the face.
Understand the fact that their are no true realities. They are all fake.
Seriously, this game is great!

This game has the vibe of "What if 1984 had a bunch of robots in it...and also (an optional) happy ending?"
The game gives you:
- Cats!
- Green buggy creature-features
- Puns and jokes so awfully good you hate yourself for laughing
- Robots with more fleshed-out personalities than your average coworker
- Philosophy
The game doesn't give you:
- Crippling depression about the inescapability of the capitalist system
- Striking fear of the grim place that is your future
- Freecam during conversations (this is the only feature of the 3 I'm mentioning I'd love to see)
If you have a free evening and your life is crumbling around you, you won't go wrong with this one.
Good job, devs!

At first I thought this was a classic case of 'baby's first game' syndrome. Clunky movement, basic visuals. Then the signature Kris Takahashi writing kicked in and I started laughing every two minutes. There is so much excellent dialogue and neatly observed satire in here that you forget the cheap-looking parts entirely. If you don't mind a largely text-based game, then the quality of the writing makes this a decent way to spend some time. Some of the music is really very good too, which helps. For a few quid, I don't feel short-changed at all.

Out of Shapes is a wonderfully witty and quirky game with an experience similar to Stanley Parable. In this game, you play as a Cylinder that goes about various tasks throughout the game. The game allows you to choose a way to explore through it in order to reach the end. Where I began the game, I did not expect where I ended up all for the glory of "The Product".
It is a simple puzzle game that has a strong narrative drive. The comedic timing and the sheer hilarity add a lot of charm to the game that invites you to keep playing. "The Product" drives drives the story as a mysterious force that influences the story. While I stated above that my path differed there are others that I could have chosen and given me access to characters that I did not encounter directly on the first play through. With different starts and different endings, the replay-ability of this game means that you'll be able to go through it a few times to see how situations could have been handled differently. The game has a light RPG system that determines your ability to complete certain tasks if you have certain stats.
The charm of this game comes through the dialogue, while not all of it is voiced, it is still very worth the read as your responses do matter. These responses influence the stats of your character much like Fallout where if you do not have a high-enough X you cannot succeed in particular tasks. This does not detract from gameplay, though I did wish I had a better understanding of it when I first started as I didn't dedicate myself to a particular path, but the multiple alternatives offered still are quite satisfying. My only true gripe with the game is towards the end of the game, but the dialogue that happens during a portion of the finale, in my opinion, helped make up for it.
TL;DR - This game is worth going through. With different ways to approach the beginning, there is a reason to go back in and play through it again. Prepare for a bit of reading, but the wit and comedic dialogue and lines are worth the little extra time.

I realy like the game so far, but I would like to see an option, where you can adjust the size of the dialog boxes, it is too small for me and so i have trouble reading it. And since this is 99% of the game, it makes it hader to play, because I have to get up close to the screen. But other then that, the game is great, wonderful sence of humor and interesting ideas. Love to continue

Clever and funny robot warehouse-based third-person adventure. Every choice in dialogue you make really matters - especially if you don't want to electrocute kittens. Save the working robots!

Set in a factory producing some unknown product, the level design is fun and engaging. The writing is super funny in a sort of improv style, and you can develop different aspects of your robot personality. I had to ask the dev/author for a little help on some quests, but they are fun and definitely made me want to keep playing.
