Soo, if you enjoy One Piece as anime its ok but get it still from sale. Combat is good, many characters to meet. Story was kinda meh, didnt really enjoy it. DLCs are short but if you get it from sale they are worth getting. Achievements to 100% took nearly 50h and most of it was grinding skillpoints, not really enjoyable. Challenges were nice. 7½ / 10

As a One Piece fan, I really enjoyed this one. The atmosphere, music, and open-world setting made me feel like a Straw Hat, stepping onto a new island in search of adventure.
Luffy's combat feels good - switching between Haki types is smooth and the skill tree works well. Exploring was genuinely fun at first. Fighting the original characters (Admirals, Crocodile, Germa 66) hyped me.
Story-wise, it's your typical One Piece side island arc - nothing groundbreaking. Boss fights are good, and Isaac(Main villain) has a cool design and backstory.
What I didn't like:
This game basically copy-pasted Assassin's Creed's homework. Same mission structure, same repetitive side quests that make you want to pull your hair out.
Karma system sounds cool on paper but it's just more busy work that barely rewards you. Exploration starts fun but after 10 hours? You're just mindlessly grabbing chests.
Some areas look amazing while others look like they spent maybe 5 minutes on them.
The final fight was underwhelming as hell. And don't get me started on the padding - some chapters literally make you run back and forth just to stretch playtime.
Game only gets fun once you unlock all the skills. Early game is boring... sadly. If they'd given us half those abilities from the start, I would've had way more fun.
Bottom line:
One Piece fans should play it. It gave me that adventure feel I wanted. Finished the main story and now I'm on the Zoro DLC - they censored the map for him which cracked me up. Lore accurate!
They actually put the same effort into DLC characters as they did with Luffy, even gave them extra skill trees.
You can still tell this game had a tight budget though, which affected the overall experience. Hope we get a proper AAA One Piece game someday because there's SO much wasted potential here.
Still loved it!

Bought the game, played it, clunky combat, found Nami, took the screenshot, uninstalled, refunded.
Recommended for Nami's model. Very Nice.

I only recommend this game cause the exploration is pretty fun. Flying around as Luffy is fun and the story is a bit basic but still pretty fun.
That is all the good I can say about the game. The movement and combat is so clunky and aggravating that you HAVE to play on beginner if you want to have any fun. Playing on any higher difficulty just makes the already frustrating combat mechanics longer and the excessive loading screens makes every death grating.
Anyway the ONLY reason I recommend this game is cause I got it on sale for $5 and I think you should too. DONT buy it for full price and play it like an exploration sim.

One Piece: World Seeker doesn’t get enough love, honestly. It’s not perfect, but if you’re a One Piece fan who ever dreamed of running around as Luffy in a full open world—this is it. And when it clicks, it really clicks.
The game lets you explore Prison Island as Luffy, and yeah, it’s not the biggest or most densely packed open world, but the sense of freedom it gives you is awesome. Swinging around with Luffy’s Gum-Gum Rocket and flying across rooftops feels genuinely great, and the world actually looks beautiful in that anime-meets-realism art style.
Combat starts out pretty basic, but once you unlock more moves and abilities, it gets really fun. You’ve got stealth, big flashy attacks, Haki modes, and a skill tree that makes Luffy stronger in meaningful ways. And seeing Luffy go all out with Elephant Gatling or Red Hawk in the middle of a battle? Always satisfying.
What surprised me the most was the story. It’s original, but it actually feels like it matters. The emotional beats hit, the new characters like Jeanne and Isaac are well-written, and there are some great cameos from fan favorites. It doesn’t just throw in characters for fan service—it gives them a role that fits the world.
Sure, there are rough edges—side quests can be repetitive, and some areas feel a bit empty—but man, the atmosphere, the soundtrack, and just getting to be Luffy in this world makes it special.
9/10 – A heartfelt, underrated gem. If you love Luffy and want to explore a world through his eyes, this is the one.
