About the Game
Welcome aboard San-Francisco, a scientific vessel exploring the outer reaches of space. 30 years ago, the ship’s crew has mysteriously vanished leaving two members behind – lazy board engineer Odysseus, who adores coffee and cookies and robot Barton that seems to know more than it’s willing to tell. One morning the ship’s equipment has malfunctioned, cute laboratory rats are eyeing Oddy with hunger in their sparkly eyes, and on a top of all that – the coffee has gone bad!
Solve dozens of brain-tickling scenarios and puzzles, uncover the mysteries of San-Francisco, rescue your crew and get back home! The Artifact, amazing discoveries and tragic sacrifices await. Just like in those sci-fi movies, but under your guidance.
Features:
- A pixelated adventure full of references to classic titles and a humorous, yet twisted storyline.
- Intelligent puzzles (along with a hint system) – say no to mindlessly combining an assortment of items and trying to guess the designer’s intent.
- Time travel and parallel universes.
- Vast locations that can be explored in any order you like.
- The old quantum converter “Hat HQ”, which allows you to try the role of sea captain, a brave explorer or…a duck?
- Jonesy the cat as a playable character (inspired by the Alien series)
- Aaaand a secret character that will influence the fate of our heroes!
Please note that by purchasing the game, you get access to the complete season (Ep. 1-5).

This is a fun little space puzzle game. It reminds me of Dexter Stardust.

I've always had a soft spot for point-and-click adventure games. Must have been all the old Sierra titles, among others. With the setting and characters, Beneath a Steel Sky comes to mind, a personal favorite. That this game is a love letter to the genre (and fans) from someone in the industry honestly feels about right.
Now, I'm not a fan of how Odysseus talks to his robot buddy Barton, but it (eventually) becomes clear where that comes from. It doesn't make it better, but by the time the story comes full circle, you understand the characters so much better... which is a sign of a good story, imo.
As the episodes proceed, you'll notice more and more typos. It's an annoyance, but doesn't interfere with the actual story. It was translated from Russian, so grant a little grace (something I had to tell myself a few times in the late game.)
Worth playing through once as much as you can on your own (I think I broke down and sought help twice outside the game), then another play-through with an achievement guide. Why? Please trust that I'm doing you a favor. Save the achievement guide for a subsequent play-through. On that note, you don't have to finish out a given episode once you've unlocked all achievements for each... EXCEPT Episode 5. And for those who don't care about achievements... I'm recommending you make an exception.
All in all, very enjoyable. If you're a fan of the genre, I think you'll like this one.
