NYKRA is a narrative platformer pixelart game with puzzle and RPG mechanics set in an ever collapsing reality. You travel via a being named Keu through 7 different planets, unraveling the complex mess of reality ahead of you. But as you read through the alien literature, discover archaic long lost ruins, and delve your thoughts into the unfamiliar languages of the galaxy, you start to realise the ‘dark virus’ people fear might not be what you expect.
The game was developed by one person, EDG, over the span of 8 years, all while learning how to make games at the same time. There were a few unfortunate consequences of this, but it has made NYKRA quite a unique experience. EDG has always been more of just a designer at heart, so learning how to program and developing an entire game was a colossal challenge.
But NYKRA is here, after all these years of development and redesigns.

Super angenehmer Grafik stil. Und die Animationen ein Pixel Traum. Die Story baut ziemlich viel Spannung auf und es ist auch eins der wenigen Spiele wo ich mir die Bücher durchlese. Man merkt wie viel Liebe drin steckt. Wenn Patch 8 auch noch das Laden der Savefile packt, dann ist es gerade das spannendste Game in meiner Bibo!

-loading a gamesave is not possible due to bug (you should try to complete the game in one session).

Die Grafik ist sehr schick, und die Story ist unterhaltsam. Sie ist im besten und wahrsten Sinne des Wortes den verworrenen Fantasien eines 15 Jährigen entsprungen.
Es gibt immer noch Bugs, aber es steckt viel Herzblut in diesem Spiel.
Ich denke es ist wert gespielt zu werden.

I followed that project a longer time, saw the videos, played the demo.
Finally it is here.
It is pure love. I like everything about it. The small details, the sound, the characters. I am just at episode 2 but i wanna play more and more.
