A norwegian happysad game set in a northern land! Adventure through a beautiful and very varied wilderness. Dive, fly, use ziplines and find different weapons to aid your journey to reach the cold mountains and below. Encounter over 50 unique bosses and enemy types!
Very varied. Atmospheric and melancholic. Other times fast-paced fighting. Dark humor and dread!
A linear game meant to be finished, without bloat, grind or sidequests.
Music is custom made for each level.
Each level has its own theme and style, and often unique mechanics.
Fast and nimble game. Even older systems can run this game, as it is highly optimized.
Game currently only supports keyboard+mouse.

The game at the beginning was very entertaining. The grotesque atmosphere, mystery, ambient music, well-paced exploration, combined with combat and its retro yet crisp graphics, worked great. Sadly, after you defeat the Doppleganger Priest , the game slows down. You spend more than 30 minutes diving—swimming through a dull cave where you mostly encounter stones. After that, the final boss fight feels scripted, almost like an Avengers movie. I’m not sure if the game was attempting humor, but for me, it ruined the overall experience. Still, Northern Journey is an interesting game and definitely worth playing.

Dziwna ta Norwegia, nie jadę tam
EDIT 1: Gry jeszcze nie ukończyłem, nie wiem czy dokończę, ale mogę stwierdzić, że Northern Journey ma ogromny potencjał w leczeniu arachnofobii. Tylu pająków to ja jeszcze nigdzie kurwa nie widziałem

If i would have to describe this game in short term then... "a path that my dad used to take to school meme"
but really amaizing game
