Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. Fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze and evaporate your way through the procedurally generated world using spells you've created yourself. Burn, explode or melt anything. Swim in the blood of your foes! Enter a simulated world that is more interactive than anything you've seen before. Your own magic: Create new spells as you delve deeper into the caverns. Use magic to crush your enemies and manipulate the world around you. When you die, don’t despair, use what you’ve learned to get further on your next adventure. The three gents in question are: Petri Purho Petri is best known as the creator of Crayon Physics Deluxe. In his youth he also made a lot tiny freeware games.

"What a shitty game" is what I keep saying when I lose. Then I start a new game.

There's no denying Noita's many qualities. The game's procedural generation is well-crafted, often allowing us to enjoy a pleasant experience while taking full and sometimes surprising advantage of the title's peculiar and interesting physics. The only real problem with the game is its difficulty and accessibility. The wand and spell mechanics are certainly captivating and a source of numerous possibilities, but they slow down an already complicated start to the game, partly because of the already punishingly high difficulty. Add to this the absence of explanations and tutorials at the start of the game, and the first few hours of Noita can be frustratingly unforgiving. But once you've got past that, you've got a game with plenty of content and possibilities. Noita is therefore only for those who are patient and willing to invest themselves in understanding the mechanics of the title.

MORTEL!!!
Insta buy ! Pas cher et mortel !

AWESOME!!!
This game is a ufo, and spoiler alert: it is HARD!!
If you enjoy challenges, this big boy is for you.
It is kinda roguelike, in the sense that you start over and over new games and die a lot especially when starting, and you can unlock some stuff on the way to help future runs. But it's a bit limited on the unlockables compared to other roguelikes, and I'd say harder to unlock overall.
It's all for the roguelike aspect, everything else is just unique and hard to categorize.
Note that the difficulty when you start your first game feels absolutely insane, it may seem absurd.
But if you persist you will eventually beat it.
What makes the win, is litterally your capacity to tryhard and learn by your mistakes and failures.
90% of the win is because you got good. Sometimes the luck can help get into a good run via good loot, but don't count on it too much xD each game is different regarding to some areas generation and the loot.
Wand crafting is a key to success, what is nice in this game is that when it seems rather pure dex at first, it actually is more focused on wisdom.
Beating the game 100% and it's mechanics without using any wiki would grant multiple... thousand hours of gaming I'd say xD there are loads of secrets everywhere, and the game does not hold your hand, not even once!
The engine is a lot of fun and mess, and the environment kills you more than the ennemies in general xD but it has infinite possibilities.
Just to get you an idea, I beat my first final boss after 150 ish deaths prior to that, approx 60 hours of tryhard.
It is addictive as hell xD
You can break the game in so many ways when you go into a very serious run, you just feel like a pissed-off god and rampage everything, and go everywhere, nothing can stop you.
You can finally get revenge for all that miserable deaths you faced before xDD hahah very satisfying!
I couldn't recommand this game more, it is a 10 for me, very unusual experience that I enjoyed to challenge. Would certainly come back from time to time to try to get last achievments of 100% wisdom in the 3 categories of the codex, and also just for the fun I get from it :)
In my top 10 of all times. Insta buy! Cheap and good!
Just like the one pound fish ^^
